Either the "Laughing" scene from X (yes people, I really do hate that thing) or II when I spent hours level(if you can call 'em that) grinding-only for my PSP to die and restart. T-T

[QUOTE="clever-cookies"][QUOTE="lightleggy"][QUOTE="clever-cookies"][QUOTE="maniamsmart"]I don't know if you guys are critics, or I just don't pay attention that much... or maybe it's just cause I just play the game and deal with the dialogue, i dont know, but first off, I haven't played Dissidia, so I don't know how terrible it gets... but I know I have played all the main Final Fantasy title games, and I can't remember any that could be considered cheesy or terrible...
Maybe it's just cause I'm old :? lol :P
Enlighten me someone... if you'd like :D

I can, If you read my comment I used the " fake laugh" from Final Fantasy X as an example. I actually cringed at that point in the game, or maybe I'm just too immature to listen to scenes like that.:P
nah I did it too, I think its one of the most awkward scenes to watch in gaming...I actually closed the door just to make sure no one would watch me play that :S

its a great game, dont get me wrong, its just the plot and dialogues that suck, I expected much more clear refferences to the games of the saga but besides some lines and special things there arent really a lot, for example for FFVIII the only refference you get about the game is squall catching a feather in the ending and one part when he says he promised someone he'll return home (which is odd, since the guys have no memory of what happened)
I expected more refferences from 012 but its not really that different because, like I said, the guys have no memory so they dont know what they did and they never mention a character who does not appear in the games.
and this, the dialog doesnt feel cheesy and stupid in this cutscene, but I just think its made poorly...they are supposed to be at war and vaan just walks past kefka and says he wont get in his way.
I was looking for the vaan and onion knight report, which is definitly one of the worsts in the game, its just made so badly you cant help it but to feel bad because you dont get "sucked in" the story.
Actually, during dissida's "storyline" they regain their memories during the conflict, so its very likely Squall actually does remember rinoa. Also, I did the same thing when I played it through the first time. The times afterwards, I just clicked mute.:D
but they dont regain them all, they also say that
Yeah, but honestly who are you going to remember first, Your obvious lover, or your one dimentional friends?
[QUOTE="clever-cookies"]I have to agree with you on that completely, if we could stop time, and stop whatever we wanted to stop, that would be great.@Albead
Sorry,I didnt notice your question. Hmmm... probably the ability to use time magic. It'd be great to slow time down to experience the good moments in life :D
maniamsmart
Example: Say I'm 17 years old, (ah the days of youngness) :P and I wanted to go to... i dont know... what do 17 year olds do these days... hang out with my girlfriend I guess... but my parents wouldn't let me, stoping time, and stoping my parents while I leave would be great.
Just having that ability to stop what you chose and do what you want, that would be fantastic. I would travel the world with my wife. I could even do it for free. Stop the airport, sneak on the plane, move time forward, and I'll be off to Figi or wherever it may be... damn that would be great dont you think?
Yeah, it actually would be.

Oh I saw that post, but I don't remember where the fake laugh happened, when was that? When the party leaves Luca, after Auron joins.

[QUOTE="clever-cookies"][QUOTE="AlBeadFFx"][QUOTE="irishdude199210"][QUOTE="Balmane"][QUOTE="irishdude199210"]At last, I have obtained a new ps3! :D Can't wait to start playing again! (Only on my computer to get save data back :P )Balmane
Awesome!! Do you get all your saves back?
Not all of them because of the fact that some they are from a different ps3 :(
Also, I haven't backed my saves up in 2 months, so the last 2 months of data is gone. I'm gonna have to re-download all those psn games etc. again and the cod map pack :( I had 32 hours played in Fallout: new vegas, that's all gone now :(
I'll find out in 10 mins which saves aren't there. I really hope nothing important was lost (pretty much any rpg game would fall into that bracket).
Thank christ I got a new Hard drive 2 months ago, or else i would have never backed up those saves and hundreds of hours of work would be lost. Moral of story: Back up your saves!
i shall go do that soon! aka, NOW!
Yeah, I feel yout pain. When my PS3 got stolen, I had to restart EVERY game again T_T. My main miff was the fact that some other A**hole probably sold that to someonne looking X-mas present:/
Things seem to get to stolen from you alot.
Not really. That was the only thing I stated which was stolen, I never said Black Ops was stolen. That was your thoughts.
At this point, the topic should have been called "Dissida, a terrible game" due to the amount of Hate directed towards it. Seriously, It obviously Fan service(especially seeing as it was brought out for the anniversary of the series) but every single Final Fantasy game has awkward, cheesy diologue-not just dissida in particular (Final Fantasy X's "fake laughing scene" for example)
But I'm going to insult any character, Its Cloud Strife. His english voice actor is probably the worst I've ever heard. I thought Keanu Reeves was the only monotone I'd ever listen too, I was wrong. And sure, Tidus is a bad(horriblyterrible) example of teen angst but you shouldnt go as far as actually getting pissed off because somebody actually likes him as a character, thats abit overboard dont you think?>.>
Lastly, The games on the PSP, you cant expect them to be able to present what you'd want from a console- FF game. I honestly think they did pretty good with the PSP, best looking game on the handheld I've seen.
