I've had quite a bit of freezing issues with GOTY. Seemed to get really bad when I was doing the expansions. Its been awhile since I've played so I'm not sure how often it was happening. Has anyone heard of it happening to people who have the original edition and downloaded the expansions?

So recently I've been playing through Fallout 3 for the second time, trying to get more of the side quests finished. As I got further into the game, I got really low on hairpins for picking locks.

I work very early mornings (4 am), and usually only get a few hours, espeicially when I'm really into a game like I was with Fallout 3.

Anyway, as I was working i noticed a small draw labels "bobby pins", and got really excited for a second because I could finally start picking locks again.

Just wondering if anyone else had "you know you've been playing to much ps3 when..." stories.

If you have a ps3, you can play any ps1 game via remote play. never mind the lag will make most games unplayable:(

I'm guessing you've never played any RE? Or at least 4, because the gameplay is very similar. I did have a problem with the running though. Kinda hard to hold down x and use both analog sticks at once. Maybe its something i'll just have to get used to. And there were exploding head shots, just not that many.

I guess I was a little let down in the fact that I wasn't totally blown away by it. I'm getting this game on day 1, but I'm not going to be eagerly counting down the days waiting.

I got my 3000 a week or two ago, and I've noticed the scan lines once. And it wasn't that bad when i did notice it. IMO, its not enough of a reason to not get the new one.

I wouldn't mind a story focusing on CJ's brother, who died prior to San Andreas. It doesn't have to cover the entire state, just the first city.Lionheart08
Thats my thoughts, even San Andreas without its suburbs would be decent sized. I think it could be done, and there is plenty story left to tell. I just don't think it will be done...

I think graphics can be improved on greatly, but at what point does it stop mattering? How many of us actually want photo-realism? Maybe in some games, but not in most. It really takes away from the art aspect of a game. I think what will start to matter more and more after this generation will be how we interact with the game. The Wii has started this trend, but I think the next generation will expand on this to places we can not even imagine. Also, I think things like AI and physics will become more important. All these things can keep getting improved, but at some point, our senses will no longer be able to tell the difference. Rather then becomeing photo-realistic, I think game devs. will strife to be memorable.

I think it is possible, and probable....eventually. I agree that they will probably wait untill the ps2 stops selling. To me, the move to remove all BC from all PS3's just doesn't make sense unless they are planing on releasing software emulation later on. I think it will be at least game specific. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't x-box 360 do this for x-box games? Patches have to be downloaded for that specific game to be played, and these are not available for all games? Computers don't have SNES chipsets, but that doesn't stop them from emulated SNES games(maybe not great, but it plays them)

-I think we need more ps1 classics. How long has it been since they have brought a ps1 game to psn?

-I would like to see MORE trailers, but move them to the movies section instead of the games sections
