Based on past releases (GT5P coming out after Forza 2), it has been shown Forza is the superior series. Unless that changes, it will continue to succeed. Well, GT5P wasn't really a "game" when you think about it. I don't want to get into a huge argument about what exactly GT5P was. But lets use GT4 as an example.

On the contrary, have you seen anything from either SCEJ or Polyphony that says it is in-game? Burden of proof lies with the affirmative. Until it is proven to be in-game, it will be taken as a target/concept render. Well there is IGNs word. But I will wait until the official word from Polyphony.

You just get over it. Its a target render, just like the E3 2005 Killzone 2 trailer. Where does it say that? If I'm wrong I can accept that. But I haven seen anything that said it wasn't in game.
