I wanna say the reason this FF game isn't doing as well as expected is because it's "westernized". I think Square finally realized there were fans of their games outside of Japan(Why else would it come to the 360?) and in that process tried to please everybody everywhere. But when you do that, all the greatness of a game is spread on too thin and instead of giving a good sized chunk of people a masterpiece they gave everyone an OK game. I'm still getting FF XIII though and I'm very interested to see how this game does in the sales.

For people who didn't want the game to do well, flopping is like a wet dream. I just think this whole hyping system we have here is hilarious. When a game doesn't match a .5 increment it's an excuse for haters to go wild and yell "FLOP! FLOP!". It's annoying as hell.
When did an 8.5 become a bad score:? People here are such gaming snobs sometimes.

I'm really tired of people associating quality with some number given by one person. Even when that number is good people still say "FLOP" and denounce the game as trash.
