I can't verify the facts for sure, but I've heard that preorder numbers actually jumped up after the public beta. The game will probably end up having a long time cult following like SOCOM or Warhawk with people that have been playing since launch. The only thing working against it is the number of high profile shooters that have recently released or are coming out afterwards.

On the bright side, it seems to be releasing unopposed by any other shooters.

BFBC2 is looming on the horizon and that will get far more attention than MAG. The MAG beta was decent but I personally will just stick with MW2 for my shooter needs. I do not care about the team work I just like deathmatch and after an hour I have had my fill.

It actuallly feels like you are accomplishing something while playing. I hated the first private beta but the latest public beta build really changed my mind and im definitley getting this game day 1. The only argument i hear haters make about this game is the graphics, and honestly the graphics arent bad at all.. Are they Killzone 2 or U2 level? no, but they are better than Halo 3 and with about 200 more people online in a match at once also. This game on System wars is a lot like the PSP, gets a lot of hate for really really small reasons.

so my prediction, i think it scores 7.5-8.0 although i think it will sell very solid worldwide. Im sure buying it day 1
