A normal length campain? For recent FPSes maybe, but anything that is under 25-30 hours isn't worth 60 bucks.

How many games in existence (Other than RPG) has more than 25 hours of SP campaign? If you meant like sports/racing game career modes, those are essentially multiplayer settings with specific goal isn't it? No offense, I am just really curious because my recent longest game was MGS4 which was around 14 hours gameplay (minus cut scenes) in normal difficulty without a guide. There is the GTA series of games. IV took me around 34 hours to complete on my first go through.

You pay because you chose to.There are other alternatives.
Not really. If I want an internet connection I have to pay a fee. Unless you know some magical way to get free internet, that's how it is.(Do you? Cause that would be great!)

It'd be a monthly charge like XBL. So they would make plenty of cash to meet our demands. So xbl is a monthly charge now? Technically XBL is about 4$ a month. So I guess you could say that.
The Beta is coming soon and I signed up for it a while ago. I'm still real skeptical. But it will be interesting to see if I can play Crysis on high settings using my 4 year old Dell laptop.
