TES: Oblivion is really good, you can still pick up the game of the year edition at a computer store for like 20 bucks. It's a great deal because it contains the original game, and it's two expansion packs...
No, dude I'm serious, is there a way I can record the game while I'm playing so I can show you that it plays perfectly????? I'm not fabricating this **** get a system with the similar specs and try it, you will find that I'm not BSing you!!!
Just in case a lot of people don't already know this, which I'm sure a lot of people do, The game Left 4 dead is capable of running at full fps on a very below minimum spec system, so for those who have missed out because you think it won't run, here's the specs that I tested the game on...
Intel core "CELERON" (as you see is far worse than a p4) "2.2! ghz)
2 gigs of ram (though I'm sure 1 will do fine...)
Geforce 6200OC (yes I said 6200) 256mb
I ran this game at the full fps, I don't know what is is, 60 fps, 30fps, I don't know if it's capped or not... But it ran at full speed through the whole game with only a little slowdown when there were more than about 25 enemies on screen, and even then it only dropped about 5-10 fps... Just letting those people know who didn't, so no smart a**es sayin "I already knew that", or, "everybody knows that", because I just found out... Peace.
And I have a pci e x16 slotI dont think that video card even meets the minimum requirements to play bioshock does it? also seems a new pc is the way to go mate, or get another 2gb ram and a better gpu best agp slot one ive seen is a Ati 4670, or its Nvidia equivalent, unsure whether you have pci-e x16 slot on your motherboard, whats your motherboard?

I have an LGA775 motherboard thingy... (Don't know how to make it clearer, I'm kind of computer illiterate...)I dont think that video card even meets the minimum requirements to play bioshock does it? also seems a new pc is the way to go mate, or get another 2gb ram and a better gpu best agp slot one ive seen is a Ati 4670, or its Nvidia equivalent, unsure whether you have pci-e x16 slot on your motherboard, whats your motherboard?

Ok, this might be silly, but I just wanted to know what is allowing me to play some of my games at a good rate...
My system spec is:
Intel Celeron-Core 450
2 gb ddr2 ram
nVidia 6200 256md vram OC'd
250 gb 7,200 rpm hdd
I am able to run UT3 at 1024*768 very smoothly (without physX of course) and Quake 4 at highest settings with no lag...
I know I have a system that is well below minimum settings of all games that came out after 2008, I was just wondering how am I able to run Bioshock perfectly at 1024*768??? I'm puzzled! i was gonna upgrade, but I don't think I need to now...
