To my understanding it isn't getting low scores because it's been done before, but because it is awful.

I just completed it for the first time after about 60 hours on my save. I took my time with it because it was honestly the best gaming experience I've had in years. The game is punishing but very rewarding. The hardest part of the game will be your first 15 hours while you figure out the game's mechanics, but it is well worth it and I personally found it fun trying to figure everything out. It's a must play, man. The difficulty is way overblown. That being said, the game is extremely unforgiving, but always fair. The controls are perfect and the only flaws are some framerate stuttering and enemies often falling or getting stuck in objects (which you will often appreciate).

Shadowrun. I thought the game was a fantastic online shooter, with features that no other game has seen.

I agree. Game was incredibly balanced and really fun. It's a shame it came with so few maps and the dev went bankrupt.

I can't recommend buying a used refurbished Xbox 360, just because they already have a lot of problems. Also, 20 gb hard drive reallly isn't enough nowadays with many games featuring and even relying on content downloads. I know it's expensive though. A 90 day warranty isn't really enough for an Xbox, but i don't know ifMicrosoft's system warranties will apply to the system you buy.
