Well, If you said you need the room and you want it to do everything, I would try finding a 60 GB. It has pretty close to 100% backward compatability. If you need more space, it's not that hard to upgrade either. It also has built in Wi-Fi.

That sucks man. I would save up for it. It only took my 4 months to save up and I got the 700 60 GB SKU too. :P

NO! Stay away! I did that before, I brought in TEN games just to be safe, only one of them qualified for "New". After the employee added them all up, he said I could use the 30 bucks towards GTA IV. NERVER TRADE YOUR GAME IN EB GAMES, ITS A SCAM!

Don't really care what Gamespot gives it. The 360 version will get around 9.7, the PS3 version will get 9.0 because, well, its Gamespot.

I don't think R* would make the PS3 version of GTA IV in any way less adequete to the 360 version. They have a HUGE fanbase on Playstation.

Um, the 360 was kinda the main part of my question. Do you want me to rephrase it? "While the "other" console says it has 1080p on the back of the box, the PS3 doesn't. Why is that?"

I read somewhere that PS3 is the only system to do full 1080p. The 360 can only do 1080i native resolution. It needs to have a HD disc like Blu-Ray.
