I've just been reading alot about what MS and Sony have planned for the future of gaming (Alot of the stuff is rumor) but still...

One thing i've been reading is this "Cloud gaming and Onlive" ... Now i dont know alot about cloud and onlive but i do know that you need is a good internet connection and you wont own the game after you bought it. Problem with this is alot of the world still dosnt have a great internet service and speeds and alot of companys have a "download cap" this kind of "online only" gaming must be 10+ years of yet...

The second thing thats worreing me is all the motion control gaming that all the BIG companys seems to keep throwing at us... I dont know about you guys but i really dont wont to be jumping around after i finish a 12 hour shift at work...Motion control always feels alittle bit gimmicky for me.

Another thing that i've read thats worreing is that the next gen wont be all that much more powerful than this gen, and not only that but it will possibley that it will be the last on off the consoles...

Ahhhhhh... well its starting to feel like im looking into the void when it comes to gaming, i've been gaming since 1988 and now it feels like the whole of gaming is changing...

What do you think? Do you like the way things are going or do you hate how the current gaming situation is?

[QUOTE="jonleeprice"] Stick with your consoles, save up some cash, buy pc parts with advice of here, watch you tube vids and get the jist of what you doing, build and enjoy (very very easy to build dont be scared)jonleeprice

I do love my tech and really love the idea of building my rig bit by bit and upgrading when i wont too, but i am worried about spending money on something that "I" might mess up lol, i have hurd that its not as hard as what people think but still worries me abit... though with no risk theres no reward lol

Thing is there isnt any risk really, it just all plugs together and all the plugs etc only go where they are meant to, and just follow the mobo booklet for wiring which again is piss easy and not as scary as it sounds :)

Yeah i think i might save up and buy a book on it too learn before doing it and give it a shot lol :)

Yeah i noticed the price has dropped loads since i bought it and i only got it at the end of november :(

Im trying to sell it to a mate or sumert now but no ones interested unless i lower the price (£200-£300) i feel gutted tbh because i cant do anything about it, but your all right i should have done some mega research before buying but i had really convinced myself that it would be awsome lol

Im a nob lol

And to add insult to me i just checked amazon where i bought it and i cant even find my model!!!

If you want to max the sims 3 it would not be unnatural to expierence lag with a Radeon 6490m which is a low end laptop graphics card.

Try to reduce settings to medium or low.

But im afraid you made a mistake if you wanted to go the laptop gaming route and spend less than £1000 you should have gone for this:

That laptop seems awsome lol

You well and truely wasted £1k you could have got a top of the range desktop for that, and the gpu is terrible. Next time ask on here before you buy lol

Your completly right i should have asked for advice before burning 1K on a laptop thats is worse than my old cheap laptop....

I think i got caught up in wanting a new laptop and thought i knew best (but i didnt)

The problem i have now is that ive bought a new house and now have a child so i cant save that kinda money up anymore so im stuck... and not only that i also tried to sell this laptop but the most ive been offered is £300
