to be honest i think it was the time of day, but do you know why the upload failed on my ps3?

And any tips to reduce lag in cod4 as much as possible?

To improve my lag on cod4 i put my ps3 in to DMZ, which i haven't tried since putting it in to DMZ. But earlier on i downloaded the motorstorm demo, which is about 650mb and i took about an hour an a half.

Afterwards i went to speedtest.net and these are the results:

PC(wired)
Down: 2490
up:380

ps3(wireless)
Down:1420
up:failed

Any ideas about how to increase the speed i know it wont go as fast becuase its wireless, but anybody know why the upload just failed?

When im playing CoD4 i quite often have an in-game signal of 3 or less bars. Even though my ps3's signal strength is at a constant 90% or more. But when i shoot at someone during multiplayer and i hit them they don't die. So i watch the killcam and they have shot me dead before i get a single round of.

So my question is. Is putting my ps3 into DMZ on my router the best and safe option?
