@Shad0wg00n have you even played FF8 honey? Squall is a silent protagonist but he had a personality Rinoa breaked his '' stone heart'' like her said in a moment of the game and they loved each other in this aspect FFVIII sucedeed exactly where VII failed,can we say the same about lightning? she is pratically a robotic protagonist she don't have a personality she doesn't feel anything the only thing that drives her is rage you can see that clearly in FFXIII,in LR she is even more ridiculous with all that dress up it doesn't suits her in any way if it was Serah it would be much better.

@Radu_Magus They betrayed every gamer that trusted them in the past just like capcom or ''crapcom'' the greed consumed them, i don't know if i feel angry or feel pity of a company that used to be an example for many gamers they lost their identity in the gaming world.

@CleanPlayer honey If it was the same SE from the past [Squaresoft] they would have correct the blatant flaws in FFXIII but now they are senile and looks like their insanity will never end,hence FFXV and its hack and slash elements its another pseudo FF that is everything less a JRPG.

@blast880 FFXIII and it's sequels are by far the worst in the series honey the franchise would be better if this abomination without story and gameplay never existed.

@Joben420 You still insist with my english honey?well i guess a child will always be a child it's ironic i should be the one that couldn't take you seriously honey you make me laugh saying such things seriously can you be more ridiculous than this? you are in no position to enlighten me who the hell you think you are? youre nothing you make yourself more stupid and looks like you never played this game so i will do a favor for you and explain yes the countdown have an impact in the gameplay you need EP to freeze it and to gather EP you have to fight it's the only way the game forces you to fight more often and using EP to freeze the countdown will make the gameplay even harder considering the fact that you have to use EP for other things like healing,and even if the countdown don't existed in this game it would be still mediocre the story is another nonsense like the two previous game and the game lacks JRPG elements and the few elements that existed like quests or exploration are thumbed down by nuisances like the countdown itself or restrictions, those are the facts you can finally understand now or your ignorance is bliss? im not surprised with you there's so many dumb novice gamers around if you want to reply me to send all that nonsense again don't bother.

I hoped i could find more people that could give FFXIII and its sequels a decent rate based in the content present in those games, but the vast majority are blinded by opinions about irrelevant aspects and forget [or don't know] that JRPG are made by specific elements,and those elements don't exist in the first game [FFXIII] and lacks in XIII-2 and LR, the latter introduced an antagonistic mechanic that served to throw the gameplay against the player and a strong market play that should have never existed in any game and it's obvious to notice that SE carried some things from the previous games to LR without caring about originality they are unashamedly milking this ''saga'' and everyone is supporting them to continue with this mediocrity,this generation is entirely at fault for all this they are gamers without identity as long there's some insignificant aspect in a game that they can find fun the rest doesn't matter.

@divinejester Honey there's a difference between the atelier franchise and the abominable FFXIII ''saga'', in LR the countdown never stops unless you use EP in Atelier it's a calendar that passes times only when you explore different areas,fighting [in certain atelier games] and make use of alchemy you can see that there's a balance in atelier the time never forces you to rush the game unlike LR.

@widdowson91 Honey LR have a countdown that forces you to end the game asap Persona 3 and 4 are different they are based in a calendar you basically play the game until you reach the following year it's a great game that teaches many things about the japanese culture it can't be compared with any game of the abominable FFXIII ''saga''

@Albelnox0 Are you really saying that FFXIII is not linear honey? then you never played those games FFXIII is an corridor since the begining until the end,XIII-2 is an collection of backtracks to pick specific items to continue with the story and LR have a rushed gameplay because of the abominable countdown,FFX is deprived of ATB and you can change the party during battles and in FFXII a real time battle system was implemented and the random encounters was abolished you think those are drastic changes for a JRPG? those changes helped the franchise evolve it became more interactive and entertaining the same can't be said about FFXIII and it's sequels,FFXIII don't have exploration,free roam, quests [the cieth stones ''missions'' are all about fighting and shouldn't be included], sidestories [the game is all about the L'cie the world circulates around them] and minigames, XIII-2 was an minor improvement there's some minigames in serendipity and thats all you can explore and have freedom but it's limited at a certain point all you can do is backtrack and it sucks,the battle system is the same and morbid paradigm system along with auto battle and button spam like FXIII nothing changed except the the quantity of members in battle,LR was supposed to be a redemption for the two previous games in SE eyes but it turned to be the worse game in this shameful and forgetable FFXIII ''saga'', the schemata is nothing more than a disguised paradigm system the only difference is the way that you can move during battles and the absence of the button spam that cursed the previous games it was a good thing but it was irrelevant in the game as a whole, looks like youre still dreaming i will try to wake you up and say that FF is already the COD of the JRPG and FFXV will be exactly the same, Final fantasy now is a JRPG franchise with nothing that resembles the genre and a gameplay oriented for a larger audience.
