So....let me get this straight......You found the cable and completed all 3 Bonk titles in the span of one day??????  Do you have a genetic anomaly......like an extra set of arms for instance? LOL

KGKaiju

No No No,

I realized the cable were missing early in June when I was giving the tour and someone had asked if there were any good TG16 games, and finding it was fairly straightforward. I like many of you no doubt have the same hidious box of cables stashed away in my closet with random cables and 3rd party controllers.

It had a solid few weeks to bask in Bonks, JJ & Jeff, and even a little Keiths Courage.

Congrats on finding the disc.  Was it where you expected it to be? KGKaiju

I have a big coffee table between the TV and my chair, and a smaller side table beside my chair.

My to be played pile tends to be on the big coffee table, however there was some random spill over on the side table. I guess I got in from buying games and tossed the stack onto the side table with the disc under it.

Opps!

Oh no!  You're kidding, right?  Man, I hate when that happens.   You hid it so well that you can't find it.  Arghhhh...I know the feeling as I have hid things from myself as well. Now I try to hide things out in the open so they don't get lost.  Wait a minute......That doesn't make any sense.  Oh well......:oops:

KGKaiju

I have officially decided that when I need to put something somewhere safe it goes in the drawer if the side table.

Now should I ever forget its here to remind me

I think many of us collect largely the same way via online, gaming stores, auctions, and the good ol' yard / garage sale.

Would be interested to hear some of the other folks best hauls?

i don't like the toy analogy or reffering to it as a toy.

jsmoke03

I don't love it either.

However, I am pleased to see that Nintendo at least understands its marketplace. They get the fact that Billy may buy Mario and Johnny may buy Zelda and they may trade games for a few weeks as has been schoolyard tradition since the the dawn of gaming.

Found the Mass Effect 2 disc;

Left the ME-Trilogy case somewhere safe so I would remember where I left it when I eventually found the ME2 disc....

Anyone remember where that safe place was???

no drm guys....loljsmoke03

Its times like this I appreciate Reggie and Nintendo.

Their stance is:

Its a toy, when you buy a toy its your toy, and when you are done with that toy you can give it to someone else and it becomes their toy.

[QUOTE="cosmostein77"]

I think that the Turbografix 16 may take the cake;

Went to show someone the awesomeness that was JJ & Jeff and realized there was no power cable.

I haven't moved it since I finished redoing the media room three years ago....

KGKaiju

The TG-16 is a cool system to have.  If mine was missing any parts, I would replace them immediately.  I'm not trying to tell you what to do but.....;)

What's funny is that I found the cable in my big box o cables in the closet;

It was just odd that I hadn't played it in so many years?

Needless to say I have since blown through all three Bonks :)

My favorite childhood console was Super Nintendo. I still haven't got all the games I want for it though. There's still stuff like Mario RPG, Super Mario Kart, Adventures of Batman & Robin, Kirby Dreamland 3, and many others I've been meaning to get a hold of.

 *sigh* Someday...

Hyacinth2600

Batman and Robin was awesome!!!!
