Hey,

I bought a 3DS at launch, with Pilotwings and Street Fighter, but due to financial problems I had to sell it shortly after. I just purchased a 3DS again and got:

  • Super Mario 3D Land
  • Mario Kart 7
  • Ocarina of Time

I also plan on picking up Pullblox (Pushmo) once my 3DS arrives.

Is there any essential games I may have missed out on?

Also, How essential is a bigger SD card?

Thanks!

Nintendo have said that Skyward Sword is the fastest selling Zelda game of all time. 535,000 copies in the US is nothing to shake a stick at. I'd be willing they've already sold over a million worldwide in the first week.

That model doesn't play Wii games. The best way to tell is the orientation of the Wii (and the logo on the Wii) on the box, that model in particular is one of the newer versions designed to lie horizontally, and stripped of all gamecube compatability including peripherals.

I meant wii model of course

ZiggyStardust16

Yes, the new Wii models are designed to lie horizontally, I'm sure you could set it up vertically, but it might be bad for your disks.

Also, keep in mind that the new Wii model lacks all Gamecube support, both peripheral and disk.

I guess just make your judgement based on the fact if you need GameCube support or not.

Calling PC Gamers casual? Alot of PC Gamers build their systems with their own bare hands, tweak their operating system for optimal performance, and mod their games to give them a better experience. All a console gamer does to play games is plug in a little box they bought at GameStop.

#Gamespot Latest controversy goes in the form of Zelda. Tom McShea has in his review admitted that he played the game wrong from the start. When going into first person, it is in fact the Motionplus which is used to calibrate. This leads to him assuming a frustrating control scheme. When looking at the Metacritic score, it becomes obvious why some fans may feel disingenuous towards Tom and may turn into another Jeff Gertsmann which caused Gamespot integrity to be damaged

WreckEm711

GameSpot ruined their own integrity with regards Jeff Gerstmann, he refused to give a game an undue score because the publisher was pumping money into the site. Eurogamer will laugh at your "story".

lmao, money conspiracies, find proof, all you people in your tin hats are ridiculous :P

Doesn't take a genius to tell what happened.

Well if you do see the start of this, you will know its me :)

Gamespot has lashed a fatal blow against Zelda fans awaiting eagerly for the latest game in the franchise – Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword when the game scored a 7.5 /10. Tom McShea's (Associate Editor) main criticism of the game both in the video and written review correlate to the frustrating control scheme.

They're still going to laugh at you for coming across as an idiotic fanboy. No journalistic establishment would publish that, as it is essentially libel.
