He shares his connection with my computer but the problem is that the connection connects but then disconnects in another 5 secs and so on....... very irritating. Do you have any ideas of how i can stabalize my connection so that it doesn't disconnect so i can play my games without restarting them? btw he has the router i have the usb thingy.

So my computer is a hp pavilion a320n and its pretty old, say like a 2003. All i did was buy an extra 512mb RAM and upgraded it. Ever since, i turn on any game for 10 minutes or less and the BSoD comes up. See, i tried taking out the RAM and putting everything back but im still getting the same thing. NOTE: This only happens when i play a game for around 10 mins or less. Anyways, i get a STOP code. here it is.

***STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005,0xE4A8604F,0xA698EAF4,0x00000000)

Looks like that. Anyone can help, that would be appreciated.

I have this starcraft bug that when i play with terran in either campaign or battle.net the background theme music starts to loop at one point then the unit sound is disabled. After this, there is barely any sound, then the game shuts off. This only happens when i play with terran. Can someone help me out?

I might get into the game, but i really dont feel like paying 15 bucks a month when i could use it on something way better. People are talking about WoW but i dont know if theres a point of playing if i have to pay. Im not trying to be cheap or anything, i heard its a really good game, im just asking if its worth getting.

I have an issue with starcraft CD. When i put it in my CD-ROM the screen shows up, so i press play starcraft, but then it says "Starcraft is unable to read a required file. Your Starcraft CD may not be in the CDROM drive. Please insure that the Starcraft disc is in the CDROM drive and press OK. To leave the program, press Exit." Data File Error. Can someone please help me out with this problem? Thanks;)

I remember once I used to have that problem as well and what was wrong was my graphic card was faulty and so I took it out and sent it back and got the new one and now everything is fine.

Mine too would come up with the blue screen when ever I got into a game and it would tellme the same thing. Except mine kept on telling me that it was dumping virtual mem and so I had no idea what to do. I forget what I did but it was no big deal.

This message typically indicates a (video) driver bug. Try using older drivers like suggested or use the drivers from the video card manufacturer.Gog
Errr, where exactly, can i find older drivers for an ATI Radeon X1600? can some1 link me?

Does this happen in all games or just one game? What are your other specs?Trilvester
This happened to mostly all of the games i played. My specs are, 2.08ghz clock-speed, 1280 mb ram, 120gb hardrive, and an ATI Radeon X1600 series graphics card

i had this problem with my old 6800gt while playing SAMP (gta multiplayer), turns out the drivers were bad. try to find new drivers from the ATI website, if it still happens, look for older drivers and try them out.Lilgunney612
Yes, i agree, but you see, i dont really think its the drivers that are the problem. I think its the video card. I mean, i even updated my driver, and it still happened. Im not sure whats going on?

Just to let you know, i have tried literally everything except removing my video card. I even re-formatted windows but it still shows the screen. I think if i take out the video card, it shouldn't show it. BUT, the screen only pops up when i play a game, so its probably an issue with the video card.
