So my computer is a hp pavilion a320n and its pretty old, say like a 2003. All i did was buy an extra 512mb RAM and upgraded it. Ever since, i turn on any game for 10 minutes or less and the BSoD comes up. See, i tried taking out the RAM and putting everything back but im still getting the same thing. NOTE: This only happens when i play a game for around 10 mins or less. Anyways, i get a STOP code. here it is.
***STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005,0xE4A8604F,0xA698EAF4,0x00000000)
Looks like that. Anyone can help, that would be appreciated.
lol i dont think i have warrenty for mineI remember once I used to have that problem as well and what was wrong was my graphic card was faulty and so I took it out and sent it back and got the new one and now everything is fine.
Mine too would come up with the blue screen when ever I got into a game and it would tellme the same thing. Except mine kept on telling me that it was dumping virtual mem and so I had no idea what to do. I forget what I did but it was no big deal.

This message typically indicates a (video) driver bug. Try using older drivers like suggested or use the drivers from the video card manufacturer.GogErrr, where exactly, can i find older drivers for an ATI Radeon X1600? can some1 link me?
Does this happen in all games or just one game? What are your other specs?TrilvesterThis happened to mostly all of the games i played. My specs are, 2.08ghz clock-speed, 1280 mb ram, 120gb hardrive, and an ATI Radeon X1600 series graphics card
i had this problem with my old 6800gt while playing SAMP (gta multiplayer), turns out the drivers were bad. try to find new drivers from the ATI website, if it still happens, look for older drivers and try them out.Lilgunney612Yes, i agree, but you see, i dont really think its the drivers that are the problem. I think its the video card. I mean, i even updated my driver, and it still happened. Im not sure whats going on?
