I'd recommend an apartment for the long run, but you absoluetely have to try living in the dorms at least once. I lived in the dorms over my first summer term and it was one of the most fun experiences I've ever had.
I'm not sure about how it works at your school but living in an apartment is significantly cheaper than a dorm so I recommend that.
I honestly just don't want to deal with communal washrooms/showers and stuff. Are they common in colleges nowadays?Depends if you are going to a wet or dry campus. Dry campuses are no fun; cannot drink alcohol.VandalvideoLet's say... BC (Boston College) will be my future college. Dorm or Apartment?
So dorms for a semester then I have the liberty to choose: stay in dorm or move into apartment (probably with a friend). You gotta do dorms for at least one semester.

So I will be a freshman in college and Iwas thinking of moving into an apartment when I go to college instead of dorms. I was wondering if anyone here (in the OT) has ever done this or is currently doing this, and if possible, could share their experience of living in a dorm and living in an apartment.
Thanks.

TC, how do you even really know your ugly? I'm willing to bet you probably look decent.
Girls think Im ugly, show no interest, and I get mistreated by people for no reason based off their impression of my visual appearance.
