It is apparently bug ridden and ctd prone, many people drawing comparisons to SOTS 2 when it was released. Not sure if its as bad as that though. Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion is a similar game that I would reccomend instead.
I have fun playing warfare (the only gametype that has any worth) every now and then. But thats all it is to me, just something to kill a hour every now and then. I love UT and UT 2004 so I'm probably kinder towards it than many other people, its a 7/10 game imo. Main problems are the driving model is rubbish, seriously worst vehicle handling in a modern game. Lack of decent weapons, the minigun is good, the shock rifle is good in certain situations...but the rest of the weapons are pony. The map design in warfare is pretty good and theres a good variety of themed locations, the servers I play on play a variety of maps but a certain number are never played as they are seen as inferior. This is generally well judged and the maps that never get played are pretty pony. If you're a fan of UT tbh you should own it, also btw if you want it for your steam account the game is steamworks so the serial key can be activated on steam no matter where/how you buy it. So grab a cheap retail copy.
I have a Tritton AX Pro here, using them with a creative titanium soundcard and they sound great. Not a troll post at all... Listing headphones like Sennheiser Orpheus is more of a troll, he did say "the best" though I guess.
I own a logitech g930, I do not like the charging cable system. I was wondering are there any wireless headsets with hot swap charging, like what you see on many gaming mice? Its just...I don't see the point of this headset if I'm going to have the cable connected at all times. Basically its more of a G35. Are wireless headsets that take alkaline batteries worthwhile, or do the batteries not last? I would consider swapping the G930 for a headset like this if the batteries lasted. Thanks
