attention developers, if you want players to keep coming back to your game..ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ADD "xp" and an extensive leveling up system to a good game and you will get players coming back..its so simple, look at WOW, people PAY just to level up and "WORK"

@megatronx2 you're not trolling in anyways man..you just have an honest opinion..shoot, i even talk **** on myself by saying trophies and achievements are just accomplishments that show that you waste your damn time haha..im 28 btw so u get an idea..and yes, MOST trophies are a waste of time..that's why i realize that it's actually WORK and not PLAY when you get those fake trophies, but you have to admit, trophies for WIPEOUT HD and achievements like beat GEARS 3 on insane are pretty cool and hard to get..THOSE ARE THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS that's actually FUN to obtain
@megatronx2 i totally understand you dude..maybe i should worded my opinion differently..yes, finishing a game is an achievement is enough..but i'm just one of those ppl that are addicted to "LEVELING UP" (anything)..and you can see developers finally understanding this type of addiction..(example: GEARS OF WAR 3..they release the dlc where you can "re up" your level just like how you can prestige in COD)..yeah, it does sounds pretty pathetic, but most gamers want to show off how much they wasted their time playing ALL DIFFERENT TYPE OF GAMES..and that's what trophies and achievements are..THEY ARE A STAMP TO SHOW PPL, "hey, i love video games THAT MUCH"..now the ppl that have an insane amount of gamerscore of more than 500,000 or psn level higher than 30..those ppl have to be rich as hell to have that kind of time to devote to games and if they are not rich, they got bunch of ppl playing the same profile
gamepot, are you trying to be gullible on purpose?..don't you know Nintendo NEVER release their triple A titles ALL AT ONCE?..one of the top NINTENDO heads even made a statement saying that..so don't count on a bunch of games we have seeing for over 20 years releasing all at once..you know that statement "NINTENDO GAMES ARE FOR KIDS"..here's why that statement is somewhat true..kids are easily impress by WHATEVER nintendo puts out, but adult gamers like me have seen the same thing over and over again, that's why LONG TIME GAMERS prefer achievements or some kind of trophies..but yet, Nintendo chose not to make it mandatory to have those things..from all the gamers that has been playing games for over 20 years, WE NEED ANOTHER REASON TO PLAY GAMES, and that reason is trophies or achievements..this is just an opinion guys..and im not one of those ppl that's addicted to gamerscore or trophies my psn is only 16 and gamerscore is 18,000~
you know what a "significant leap" would be?..how about real time graphics running at 60 fps that's on par with those final fantasy CG movies..NOW THAT'S AN UPGRADE!
i don't know the technical stuff, but will the ps4 or xbox 720 will be capable of realtime graphics on par with those finally fantasy CG movies?..cause if the next gen consoles can't do that..then it wouldn't be a great leap or a necessary upgrade
@Mariner32 hell yeah dude!!..my wish came true when i saw the e3 demo..now if only the game would support the GT Pro wheel, it would be icing on the cake..that was the only thing missing from HOT PURSUIT
