I've been trying to create an xbox live account. Once I create a gamertag it says, "xbox live signup is currently unavailable." Please try again later." I'm assuming it's issues with their servers. Very frustrating as I went out today to get the adapter ($100 more) and I can't even get my account set up.

I just looked at some websites and there's no mention of one. Oh well. White it is.

Is there one or is Microsoft planning on coming out with one. I have to getan adapterfor my elite. It's no biggie, but of course I'd prefer a black one as opposed to a white one. Thanks.

Question about getting back on to xbox live. When I had my original xbox, we had cable internet and I used a wireless router. The whole set up was a few feet from my entertainment center. We recently switched to Verizon FIOS and our router is now in another room in our apartment. I can't run an ethernet cable through the entire apartment, because the fiber optic cable goes through our walls and the hole is not big enough for anything else to fit in. Could I use a wireless adapter on the 360instead of an ethernet cableto pick up the signal? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
