When you take the time out to think, Nintendo has advertised almost every big game QUALITY game 3rd parties have given them.

MH3? Ad campaign. Samurai Warriors 3? Localization & Ad campaign. Dragon Quest 9? Ad campaign.

Unfortunately, the ride stops there because 3rd parties haven't given them a game WORTH promoting since.

Its up to 3rd party publishers to advertise their games. They can't expect Nintendo's marketing division to do all the work for them. Besides, Nintendo is awful at marketing core games.meetroid8

If Nintendo advertised 3rd party games like The Conduit, MadWorld, or No More Heroes they wouldn't have fared terribly at stores. Nintendo fans listen to Nintendo simple as that. If HVS says this game is great... no one listens. Meanwhile...Nintendo says this game is great and it sells well. Am I right or not? You decide.
