I bought a PC game in July and I don't see why someone would think that PC is better than consoles or consoles are better than PC. I already played Batman: AA (Action-adventure) on PC and many other Action-adventures on the consoles and I must say that I'd rather play them on console. I've played Civ V and some other RTS' on the PC and, in this case, PC is much better than consoles. Now, about RPGs and FPS', some people like PC, some like consoles. I say that I prefer FPS' on my PS3, and I can't say about RPGs because I've never played a RPG enough on console to say whether it's better on PC or consoles. In the end, it all comes to your PERSONAL preference.
I like to buy games at stores. Having the game's box and manual somehow make me feel better about my game collection. It's better to collect something tangible. However, Steam makes it easier for you to buy games, and it's extremely cheaper. But still, there are many publishers entering the digital-distribution gaming market, and, just as everyone else, I don't want 10 apps open in my desktop sucking my PC's processing power while I just want to play ONE game, specially with all those high-end games that require a really good computer to be run.
Looks really great, but I've didn't notice many differences between Low and Ultra spec and, tbh, I didn't see absolutely no difference with Ubersampling on and off. But I suppose it's easier to compare when the game is running and is on full-screen.
Publishers spend too much time making better-than-real-life graphics, but their games last 5 hours and they charge us 15 dollars for each DLC. And in the end, they believe those conditions are fair and blame us for not making billions of dollars.
