You didn't even look at my first pick...

Also, you can't match ****cal music for that kind of demand.

If you want metal bands, Moonsorrow, Therion, Summoning, Qntal and Epica are way more EPIC than Turisas.

Redgarl

Not really, no. Turisas is definitely more epic than Therion, Moonsorrow, Summoning and Epica. Qntal is hardly even a metal band.

If you're trying to be sarcastic about Adagio for Strings, it's not working.

You could probably run it on medium with a few extras at 1680x1050, at a decent framerate. I have a 3GHz dual-core and a 9600GT, I can run the game on High with a few options tweaked up/down slightly, at ~30fps.

As far as I know, all they currently have is guest passes for 7 days. I don't know if they're ready for use yet, as the game just launched. What I do know, though, is that it requires a 12 gb download, and installs 32gb. So you darn well better have some free space.

No. Not explicitly or implicitly. As much as LSJ will hate me for saying this, yeah, it's kinda mediocre. Not terrible, but it ain't all there.

Definitely not Frank Miller, if that's what you're going for. Um...Clive Barker and Neil Gaiman, perhaps? They've got a pretty fantasy-oriented/surreal style.

[QUOTE="crucifine"][QUOTE="Berzz"]The one thing I hate about metalheads is when they say that metal's musical structure is similar or comparable to that of classical music, when that's a complete lie.

Berzz

I haven't seen you in a while...aye, ye speak the truth.

I still maintain that there are a few who stand above the rest of the crowd, but I'm not gonna get into how far above they stand and who they are here.

(On a semi-related note, I've been listening to the Cynic promo lately).

Oh hey I thought you didn't post here anymore!

I still do, but I'm a bit more picky about the topics I post in. If I see a metal thread, I just wait until Keel or pianist shows up, because they keep it interesting. Otherwise I leave it alone, because it's all over the place anyways. No need to keep resurrecting them when they mate like bunnies. The other board I post on is significantly more mature than GS, and it's easier for me to find new movies and music I like there. Sometimes I'm tempted to PM all the non-bozos here and relocate them :P.

Liszt is way more brutal than you kids will ever be. And Beethoven wore eyeliner 24/7.

WHAT.
