@alizure: So, not a linux that is compatible with GOG? Odd. And no, this is a handheld gaming PC. Theoretically, the purpose is to play...PC games? Of which there are still many that don't work on Linux (One of the points made earlier with OP, BTW...feel free to provide more information if possible). A handful of working games does not make it "strong in the market." I know you said "tons," but listed a whole 2. I'll reiterate since you've likely forgotten this bit, but I wish that weren't true. I'd love to see linux more robust and compatible, but it's just not there yet.

@alizure: Ok, if GOG is so easy to emulate, why the article in the first place? As stated above, the linux compatibility is with the game, not GOG as a company/service/client/etc., and I acknowledged that my information there was incomplete, but so was yours. You haven't answered the question, so I'm assuming that you don't know the distro, either. I have actually used Linux (Ubuntu specifically) several times in the past when it looked like it was getting truly competitive, so yes, I have used package managers. Unfortunately, it was not then and still is not where it needs to be. That said, those more than a couple of videos are still vastly more proof than anything OP (or you) have given.

@alizure: Just don't believe in coincidence is all. You're both here making the same general points. You're getting pissed that I'm holding him to task. Simple smell test, really.

@alizure: Ok, little yes, little no. "Currently, GOG does support Linux with direct downloads, although they only officially support a few versions of Ubuntu. They do not, however, support GOG Galaxy on Linux. This has been a bit of a problem, as some games with multiplayer rely on Galaxy meaning a few Linux builds on GOG came without multiplayer."

So, GOG has limited Linux (but only Ubuntu?) support, apparently in games that already support Linux. Last I had heard, GOG did not have any official support for Linux. Do we know yet what SteamOS is built from?

@alizure: *you're...now THAT's being an asshole. While I agree that everyone has a right to their own view, NO ONE has the right to state that as fact unless, of course, it is. That's why I questioned his OPINIONS. It's completely fair. Also curious, you both created your accounts today...same person?

@alizure: I agree that Linux should work fine in the device as intended. The article is about GOG compatibility, which simply doesn't exist on Linux. Despite OP's assertion, there are a LOT of games that still don't work on Linux. As such, Linux is NOT ready to be the end all/be all of gaming. S'all I'm sayin'.

@koga: I dislike people talking out of their rear and expecting it to stand as fact. BTW, I thought you were done with this conversation like 2 hrs ago. Who's really not moving on?

@koga: Is this like the first actual discussion you've ever been involved in? If you make claims, and they are questioned, it is on you to prove those claims. Otherwise, it can be safely assumed that you are, in fact, talking out of your rear. That's how discussions work.
