I bought 2 of those 4GB kit's but so far 4GB is OK. GTA 4 only used 3.1GB, the rest around 1.5GB.

Why did you build such a system? Its all over the place. You bought an AM3 hexa core processor for a mATX AM2+ (not even AM3) board in a full tower case (why not ATX)?, a 750w PSU that you won't use with that GPU, and a GPU that is slow. And DDR2 memory in 2010. Why?

Well I plan on upgrading the video card to a ATI 6870 ! The part was just on sale. And DDR2 will serve me for now! I already have DDR2 memory on my last system and I didn't really see a huge reason to buy a whole new motherboard and get new RAM. And doesn't the board that I have support AM3? It said so on the website.

The board doesn't support AM3 fully which is why it uses DDR2 RAM. The 6870 is a good choice though. I have one and it is a good card . . . especially when AMD releases drivers that fully support it.

Well I'll buy a new mobo :)! Do you know of one I could use? I don't mind buying new RAM, I was just trying to save money :)

But what would you suggest to fix it? I just parts on sale so I could have a budget computer that can run new games :)

One more question guys!

The card I want says it's PCI express 2.1 but my motherboard is PCI express 2.0

Does that mean it wouldn't fit inside the mobo? Thanks for everything already, this is my last question.

If I were you I would've gotten a i5 750, which is cheaper and better than your hex core, and with the extra money, get a GTX 460 768mb.

But then I'd need an Intel board. I already have AMD parts :P

It looks like a very nice computer however at 1080p your video card is gonna struggle a lot. You definitely want to upgrade it if you intend on playing modern games.

GTR12

Would the Radeon HD 6870 be a better fix? :) Or do you have another suggestion?

Wait for 1 week, the 6950 and 6970 should be out then, now there's a upgrade.

Hahaha thanks! After that, I should be set for a while right?
