Taking draw distance into account, I'd say that Resistance even holds up to Gears but Gears still edges it out... Right now your seeing better graphics on the 360 for multiplatform games due to dev. familiarity with the hardware, but this time next year, you're going to see a sizeable difference between PS3 and 360 (with PS3 looking better). Not to dog the 360 (I own both and love them), but its days of being the graphics king are numbered when 2nd gen games like KZ2 and MGS4 are coming out.
i think they took out the lobby to streamline the process of getting into a game. granted i miss the features too, but i also like to jump into a game as quickly as possible.
as far as I know, it should display fine in SD with the standard cables as the PS3 should recognize there isn't an HDMI cable plugged in. You should be fine.
Try joining a game that isn't almost full.. the 29/32 player matches fill up really quickly since the game is ridiculously popular right now. Good luck and hope to see you online!
Yeah its frustrating that the game has been delayed for as long as it has been but its going to be absolutely amazing. Splash Damage and ID are prefectionists and I trust their judgement more than my fiending for this game.
SHV cannot come soon enough. As amazing as RE5 will be as an action game, SHV looks to be the definitive next gen horror experience and I can't wait. Watch this and tell me that isn't freaky.
