Charter Member

OK, it has been a month since I accepted a invite to become a charter member in a union. This is just for the people who are in need for charter members to start their own union.

And I believe this is my 25th blog! No, no. This is no milestone yet... I was just pointing out that I am 1/4 of my way to 100! :P

No Idea.

Well, I got back from camping a few days ago and then when I got back, a friend of mine asked me to come to his cabin for the weekend. So I went there and that is why I haven't been active until now!

During camping, you all know that I won in my baseball provincials and now I am going to Windsor, Ontario. During my camping time I did manage to finally finish two games! Golden Sun: The Lost Age and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. Golden Sun: TLA s suck a good game and they should make a third one for the GBA... Or if not for the GBA, start a new Golden Sun series for any other Nintendo console!

More baseball news now.
When I thought it couldn't get any better (going to nationals and seeing my first MLB game), I got a phone call from a scout who was at the provincials looking for people to play for the Manitoba team at the Western Canadian Summer Games. That is where the provinces best players get together and play. It is like a summer Olympics for Canada. The scout who called me was the coach for the team and he wants me to try out for the team. If I make it I get to train with the team through the winter and I get to go to a few tournaments in other provinces. This is just so special to me because this means that I am one of the best 26 people in the province for my age group which is quite a feat for me!

Provincial Champs!

Yea, that is right! My baseball team actually became AAA Bantam Provincial champions! I don't know how we really made it to the finals but we did and then we beat probably the best team in Manitoba! It was so fun and intense! I won't bother going into details about anything because I am on limited time here and I do not want ot write for 30 minutes.

What Provincials are is that the best teams from your province all gather up for like one big tournament. But this year all the teams in the province that are AAA Bantam (ages 14-15) were able to get into this tournament. This year there were 13 teams that entered and there were only two rewards given out to the two finalist teams (bronze medals to third place team). The winners get to go to Nationals in Windsor, Ontario this year and get to play the best teams from the other 9 provinces. The second place finishers get to go to Westerns which is just involves Manitoba, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. This year the Westerns are being held in Spruce Grove, Alberta this year.

So really, going to Nationals is really insane! I already know what it is like because last year in May I got to go to Vancouver, BC for Nationals for bowling (yes, I bowl). And for bowling it operates pretty much the same way except with more teams to compete against than baseball. So we won Nationals for bowling and you get banners, medals, ribbons, flowers, get put into books and all that kind of stuff in front of a couple thousand people.

The best people from the country (Canada) are all going to be there and there will be tons of scouts there looking for players to give scholarships to and big stuff like that! I really can't wait because we only won yesterday and we had a party at our coach's house and the parents and players at a time discussed a ton of stuff! Most of the parents won't go so it will just be mostly the players and coaches. We are leaving I believe on the 21st and get back on the 28th. We also get to pick-up up to 4 people from the other teams who did not make it to the finals, so that should be fun as for there are quite a few huge and big people we could pick up just for pitching type of thing. We get to fly out there and almost everything is paid for us! And for bonus, since we are right before the US border (right above Detroit) we are all going to pay $25 to get bused down to Detroit and watch Chicago White Sox @ Detroit play each other! And for me, that is really big because I have never been to a Major League game before! I have only watched probably about 250 (if not more) games on TV. So me to actually see the players I have watched for years on TV to become reality for me is so damn cool!

And that is all for now I will write about this, and if anyone is curious about anything, just ask!

Goodbye... 10 Days

Before I get started, I forgot to say in my last blog post that I reached level 20! That is wickedly awesome and right now I am experiencing torture... As I am only going up roughly 1.5-1.75% a day!!!
And yes, the chance were low but I did manage to get an emblem (should be 2) in those two days! Look up there and you will see what got added.

Yes, 4 hours from this time I will be leaving to go camping for 10 long days! So as most of you may have guessed it I will not be here!
But there is one good thing. I will not be away from GS for the whole time as for this weekend I have baseball provincials and I will have to come back home for the time (only about 15 minutes per day) and will be able to try and fit in as much as possible into that 15 minutes.

In the mean time of camping I will obviously be at the beach there for about an hour a day, I will be biking around there many trails and the giant park for hopefully at least an hour a day and when I am not doing those... I will be at my campsite, playing my DS and GBA games. I am only taking those games that are in my 'Now Playing' as for those are the games I still have to beat. So I hope that I can finish a couple or a few. I will finally finish Golden Sun: The Lost Age because at as of late I have been playing that and all I have to do now is get the last 4 summons and beat the Doom Dragon! ... And If I am lucky I should be getting a new game (I hope). It will probably be The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Not too sure but I assume that is what it will be as my brother will pay for half of it.

So that is what I have to say for the time being and to all my unions out there that I post in (the 6 of them), please understand why I am not active (read this blog) and I won't be happier till I get back and get posting again!

Au revoir for now. I may get to talk to some of you in a few days, if not, talk to you all later in 10 days!

1000 POsTS

Hmmm... What happened this week so far!?

Oh yea, I got 1000 POSTS! So I think that is pretty cool!!

And I reviewd 3 games! Check 'em out of yea want!

I think that is all for now and hopefully something else can happen before I leave for 10 days. (Only 2 days left!) ;(

Lots.

Well then, this week has been very good to me! I became and officer in 3 unions! If you want to check them out, click on the unions tab above my journal. Hmm... What else? Oh yea, I am nearing down on 1000 posts after I took a 6 month brake from posting. I have made a few new friends for Wi-Fi and on Gamespot.

In my baseball news, we have been eliminated from the "playoffs" but this year every team in my league makes it to "provincials". So it is a little messed but my baseball season is still not over yet! (We started baseball in January!)

In other baseball news, (not from my league) the Jays are doing quite fine and I am happy with what they have shown so far and where they sit as placing behind the few teams ahead of them. I still think they have a shot of making the post-season and I really hope they do!!

For gaming, I have only been playing a few games as baseball took up at least half of my week. Those games include: Age of Empires 3, Runescape, Tetris DS, and some Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (not much though). The only bad thing about gaming is that I still can't play Battlefield 2 and the booster packs and expansions because I still have not ordered a new video card... But I have looked into them and I believe I know which one I am getting but all I have to do is order it... (Don't know when that will be).

And just to let everyone know in advance at the moment... I am going camping on the 1st of August and I wont be back till around the 10th. So just ot give my unions a heads up notice in advance that I will be away.

I Have Finally Started!

So... I have owned FF:CC (Final Fantasy: Crystal Chornicles) for roughly 8 months and suprsingly enough, I have never played or inserted it into my Gamecube!!

I don't know why I havn't started before but i didn't so here I am now playing it for the first time. It seems pretty intesnse and is actually very, very cool!!! :D It is fun so far and very diverse.

I just have one question that i am too lazy to go figure out myself:

How do you beat the game?

Tagger (lvl 2)

Tagger Maker

Tagger Maker

I wasn't finished when I got my first emblem and then when I was done, I hoped to get something better than a Dabber. It looks pretty cool and for it is not a normal boring badge and has some colour to it which makes it stand out. :) Well, I am done tagging for now and I have tagged everything I wanted to and I hope in the future when there is more to tag, I can get level 3! :)

Tagger

Tagger Dabbler

Tagger Dabber

Well, I just decided to tag some things for the fun of it and I got thus. I was expecting to get this and what I really hope for is that I can advance in letters/names by tagging more things. I won't go crazy with this like other people and will only tag things that I really want to tag. So I just hope all this tagging will pay off...

FFFRRRAAANNNCCCEEE!!!l

OMG! They did it! They came over the toughest of toughest teams! I can't believe it! And to all you out there that I know in real life who said that France wouldn't go anywhere! I am just so happy that they won and the game just finished about 2 minutes ago!

And I am so proud of them becuase from the very beginning of the World Cup I wanted Poland, France, Ukraine, or England to win! So 1 of my 4 teams made it to the finals!!

Btw, FRANCE WILL BEAT ITALY!
