@uk_friday: lol...the only thing Samsung is good at is memory & marketing excrement. If they came up with a console they would either call it a QS4 or an Q Box ONE.
@regix416_basic: Not sure about upgrading if you already have a PS4, however it may get cheaper once the scorpio is launched.
Other than that, I would only upgrade if Sony doesn't announce a new console soon, you have a decent HDR 10bit 4KTV and you want the best possible sony console available to get the most out of every game.
Or just purchase a Scorpio in fall.
I do enjoy having a pro but I never had a ps4 of my own prior to that. only borrowed a semi faulty unit that enabled me to play some select exclusives.
I did plan on purchasing the scorpio but decided to go pro in the end. primarily because they are both still the same thing, mid gen upgrades.
Ultimately you'll still play the same multi platform games regardless and be limited to exclusive titles to their respective consoles. Just without the extra graphical fidelity and/or higher resolutions and/or better frame rates.
Well at least there is some hope for Hitman to resume. Just depends on how it'll play going forward.
I particularly enjoyed playing the complete season and felt the episodic releases more off putting. Saying that I didn't really give it a chance and preferred to wait till the full release.
I guess as it never really had a story the episodic releases worked in its favor.
