Second Time's The Charm....I Hope...

Tomorrow is Black Friday; the day when all the stores drop their prices in order for people to start their Holiday shopping; and a second chance for me to try and get my hands on a  Wii:lol:.  I'm trying to look at all the stores in near me to see what times that they open on to see how early I have to get up *At this point, 5AM:cry:* but I hope that this will yield results:D.  Staring at the TP box is getting tiring....

Guess Who's Jumping On The Bandwagon 360???

Yup, I decided I'd finally get a 360:lol:.  I figured out that if I can't snag a Wii by the Holidays; then I'd settle for a 360 instead.  The game that basically sold it to me was Gears of War.  I played it over at my cousin's house today and it's a hell of a lot better than any review says.  This game is gorgeous, and extremely immersive.  The thing that made me think "I NEED A 360!!!" was finally taking the chainsaw to the Locust's head.....AHHHH!!!!!  So I hope I can at least get one by June of next year.  PS3 I'm holding off for a while:P.

AH!!!!!  My next-gen dreams have been crushed:cry:!!!  I missed out on both console *PS3 and Wii* which is totally lame!!!  Here's what went wrong:

PlayStation 3

Woke up that morning and was pissed that I had to go to school *I wanted to get out early, but my parents wouldn't let me:(* so that was basically the longest day ever.  Once I got home; I found out that the store that I pre-ordered from only had *get this!!!*........1 system????  And guess who didn't get it???  I was bummed for the rest of the day, even when I was hanging out with my friends; later we took back our money and that started the waiting game for the reshipments:roll:.

Wii

Woke up EXTRA early *which sucked since I was watching all of the Wii launch even earlier that night* and got ready and left at about 6:50AM and got breakfast.  We left to go to the store at about 7:15 AM and went to our local Target store.  Turns out, they had this raffle system in which they gave out a ticket for each system they had *about 60 ticket were given* and guess who didn't get one???  So, we*my grandfather and I* waited until the store opened at 8AM and asked what we could do to get another system.  They said to call back at like noon today to SEE if people didn't get their system*which was a 1 out of 100 chance*.  So we left and went to the closest GameStop*closed, plus they probably did a Midnight Launch thing:roll: and Wal-Mart*did the midnight event too:cry: plus they only had 35 systems.  So as a last chance effort, we went to the local Exchange*who thought that the Wii is there??*and got there around 9Am when the store opened and waited.  Guess who also did a raffle system???  Yup, they passed out ticket at 8Am; when we were still waiting for nothing at Target.  And they had 24 systems, 24 tickets, 3 "if-the-person-cannot-get-the-system-so-you-get-it" tickets, and us; the morons who just stood there and hoped.  At the end, I just settled for a copy of Twilight Princess *which I can't even play!!!!* and went home.  I REALLY hope they send another shipment of consoles by the holiday season so I can get one for Christmas.  I can wait for a PS3 until next year anyways.

So, I went to my local Target store with my mom today; and for the sake of it I went to the Electronics Department and saw a section for it with a monitor that *I thought* was just showing PS3 vids.  But I got closer and saw the ACTUAL SYSTEM!!!!  Granted, it was encased in a glass case viewable in plain sight of anyone that would be stupid enough to try and steel it, but whatev; it was AWESOME!!!  The thing's like the size of your chest, and insanely glossy.  Like the smallest little speck of dust could shatter it into a million pieces.  And I got to hold the Sixaxis, which felt like holding air*due to the Immersion law suit that costed them the Vibration feature:cry:* and it felt just right...I guess:?.

Well, in other news, I'm in Chapter 3 of Bully*which is still a totally awesome game*.

Yup, I finally got Bully last weekend and all I can say is: wow.  I'm extremely impressed with this game:D.  The whole game *suprisingly* isn't ALL ABOUT VIOLENCE:shock:!!!!!  It's like a regular school, it's mostly about connection and making new friends with all of the cliques at the school.  Right now I'm basically doing all sorts of missions for nerds *escorts to lockers, getting back Chem. notes, etc.* which is kinda lame *I'm not really that good of a Bully:cry:!!*  Most of the classes are basically minigames that are actually pretty fun to play.  From what I've been playing, here's a rundown of some of the basic classes you can attend from the start:

Chemistry: A timed button press game that goes along with you setting up a basic Chem. experiment.  With these skills you can make your own stink bombs, firecrackers, etc from your own room:D.

English: Scrabble....ugh:P.  Make as many words as possible with like 6 or 7 letters in a couple of minutes.  Use your new use of the english language to get your way out of trouble with Bullies and Prefects.

Art: Like using a lightcycle from Tron, you must make an entire box and fill the gap to make a picture while avoiding opposing random objects from touching your line.  Rewards are based with the ladies8), like scoring kisses and such.

Gym: The BEST CLASS IN THE GAME!!!  Wrestle and learn new moves or play a good ol' fashioned game of Dodgeball:twisted:.

This game is definately worth checking out if you own a PS2:D.

OTHER STUFF: 10k Posts....WOOOOO!!!!, New look similar to first look on GS....Yay nostalgia!!!!, Level 23.....Yay insanely easy level ups!!!!

I've been thinking about making a new union.  A Spider-man Union.  I haven't thought of a name yet so you can pitch some names here.  This union will be devoted to everything Spidey: comic books, movies, tv shows, and games.  I need a couple of co-founders to help me get started.  So who's with me???

Since the football *american:wink:* season began about 2 weeks ago, my family has been participating in a little football pool *you guess which teams will win and the most correct games wins some $$*.  This is between myself, my dad, and my oldest brother.  Here's how my games looked once all of the 1 PM games were over on Sunday:

I just got past Level 21 today...in a week:lol:.  After spending half of the summer as a Metal Slime, this is pretty sad.

I finally decided that I'm going to get a Wii at the launch rather than trying to get a PS3 to avoid hassles with the system....wow this is a lame blog:lol:.

Yeah, Gs isn't all that fun anymore.  Now it seems more like a boring chore like taking out the trash or something rather than a fun place to discuss games.  Mostly since I don't "feel" motivated to post here in my unions *even after I left about half of them just recently.*  Plus, due to back to school crap, no one has anytime to post on here *except a select few of people*  Also, I'm leading two unions that are not as active as I thought:

The Assassin's Guild

A union devoted to Assassin's Creed with over a hundred plus members...too bad only about 3 or four of them post there.  And no one really cared if I gave them a news update, which really bummed me out.

The Asian Gamers Union

A good idea in concept, but now not as great as I thought.  With only 20 members there, I wish that more people would be interested in it:(.  Plus with all of the set backs with tags, we aren't getting alot of interest.  Plus people keep downing the union once they see an invite.

I don't know, I'm also stressed out from all of the work I've been getting and all of the stress and crap that I'm getting from my parents.

If you all really and honestly care enough to let me stay, please tell me.  I've shattered my wall of privacy just for this blog.

My Second Union Is Up!!!!

I finally got my new union up and running.  It's called The Asian Gamers Union and it's a union devoted to all of the asian Gs users to hang out and talk about games and culture.

High School Stuff

High School is pretty cool, it took some time to adjust but in the end it's a fun experience and I get to hang out with all of my friends all day.

Yeah, I think that's like a Rodney Dangerfield joke or something:lol: ??  Anyway, this is the last day of my summer of 06, and I spent it being bored as hell and rearranging my closet:shock:.  Nothing really happened over the past few months, nothing until like Early August when my parents gave up on moving and decided to stay at my current house until I graduate.  So I was just hangin' out with my friends and such.  But BTS preperations are lame, I had to get up at like 5:50 AM today *the earliest I've woken up THIS YEAR!!!!* and start preparing for a normal school day and seeing if I have enough time to just kick back and watch the tube. 

Also a couple of other things happened, I'll just set them up in like catergories or something to make it easier on the eyes:

Extreme Makeover: Closet Edition

I had to clear out my closet to get some room ready for new clothes and such, just like old pants or something....yeah I got nothing...just skip ahead now.

If you haven't heard already, Steve Irwin "The Croc Hunter" died by a stingray sting in his heart.  Sad really, you always thought it would be from a croc or snake.....please don't hurt me for that.

YYEAAAAAAARHGGGHHHH!!!!!

I was playing Metroid Prime: Hunters and I just died *No save point near me* so I had to basically start a level *a hard as nails one!!!* so I flipped out and hit my bed, my remote for my TV was underneath and now it's totally busted...or now it's busted since I chucked it against the wall.  Sucks, since I only had it for like a month and now it's already dead.  I'll miss you Clicky:cry:
