I know i'm going to get yelled at for starting this thread, but i really have no idea what i'm doing.

So bought a new latop, 4 gigs of Ram, big hardrive, i just need a decent graphics card that can run Starcraft 2 well. I don't need some $400 thing that will play Crysis on SUPER AMAZING ULTRA...just something pretty good.

Where do i look?

Ok, just pre-ordered BF3, MW3, GOF 3, Deus Ex, Skyrim, Dead Island, Halo CE, Arkham City, Rage, Uncharted 3, AC:R, Mass Effect 3.

So, am i missing anything?

Game was a let down for me. The gunplay is nothing special, the characters are kind of meh, the story is poo, the AI is not too good. Like I always say about this game, why praise it for storytelling and pacing when the story it is telling is crap? By the way I played it Nov 2004.

Before anyone comes in here trying to flame, i'm actually trying to have a civil discussion. I'm not saying the game is bad, obviously, it's not. I just didn't like/enjoy it...and i kinda hate myself(not really) because i REALLY wanted to!

I just disliked everything about it...but the sense of isolation/being alone really took a lot of the fun out of it for me. No real NPC's..no real characters...you just go from one side of the level to the next killing things. The mechanics of the game are great, no doubt....but it just didn't feel real? Blah. Hard to explain.

So far those of you who loved the game, what is it about the game you enjoyed?

I'm planing on replaying MGS 1-4 pretty soon, which one do you guys think is the best?

Also, should i play PS1 MGS1 or GC MGS? Can't make my mind up.

I know it got fairly poor reviews, but i need a place to vent.

Dull voice acting, dull story, dull characters, dull setting, short, basic, 2-3 unique abilites, poor graphics and character models, buggy, glitched achivements, no new game plus, messed up co-op, crappy loot, AND NO EFFING MAP.

It's been a while since i have wanted to take a game and break it in half for just being so so so lame and lazy.

I mean, it got EVERYTHING....EVERYTHING WRONG. I can understand getting a few things wrong...but EVERYTHING???????
