You have the 6 months to pay off the full cost, if it is not paid off in 6 months interest will be incurred from the buying date. If you do pay off the total in 6 months or less, than you will pay no interest at all. However, watch out if you buy in the middle of the month newegg will count it as the start of the month. For example, if I buy $900 worth of parts on May 31st I will only have until November 1st to pay it off.If I do bill me later on new egg, and pay it off with in 6 months, will I pay anything extra? Lets say I buy parts that add up to 700, and pay it all off by the date before interest starts, would I only pay 700?

Hmm. What kind of monitor? What resolution would you be playing at? You can def build a decent gaming rig for $700-800. It won't play everything on max settings, but you can get away with medium-good.I don't have any parts, by "I have all the other stuff" I was reffering to the keyboard, mouse, and monitor from the other question. And my budget is a max of $800. I'd love to get away with no more then $700 though!

Yes it is a tad on the heavy side, but not as bad as you would think. I agree there are many other quality monitors out there, I just was debating $665 IMO wasn't overpriced for this monitor, and it was worth my money. =)I am not saying it's not a good display, I have gamed on it and it was quite amazing. It's just that other companies make really good monitors as well. :)
And yes I know it's not for portable use but was just saying that having aluminium is nice for looks and touch but it does increase weight.

I'm not an Apple "fanboy" by any means. I enjoy their products, and I do think they are overpriced for the hardware you get...I never disagreed with you. I was arguing for what I paid this screen is amazing, and that I would easily take it over the Dell for the extra $65. And are you saying those screens aren't made with plastics/composites? I don't know which part of my statement wasn't true. Place an ACD next to any of them, and IMO the ACD blows all of them out of the water aesthetically. If your only argument against me is that "I'm wrong" and that I'm a "fanboy" than you sir, are terrible at online debating.[QUOTE="cyle00"][QUOTE="Roland123_basic"] that is just.... not true at all but whatever. it is clear you are an apple fanboy and cannot be argued with. no point in continuing the conversation.

the part about the only screen coming close is the Dell... that simply isnt true. Both the dell and HP are similar in spec and performance, and there are many other monitors just like them.
the part about none of them being streamlined and being made of ugly plastics..... again, not true. although, the second comment is purely subjective considering it is a question of style. The Dell and HP are both styled quite nicely, with a small bezel and low profile stand. if you like brushed aluminum over matte black plastics i guess that is up to you, but you cannot say the aluminum of the apple display is "better" than the plastic of the others... it serves no functional purpose beyond asthetics and as such is purely subjective.
When did I say it made it functionally better? And how can you disprove my thoughts of the "ugly plastics" are they not plastic? Oh thats right, they are. But yes I love the brushed aluminum. None of my statements are false, why? Because they are all subjective. The only one that can be slightly argued is performance factors and unless you can show me performance charts, I will continue to think the ACD is the best of the 4, with the Dell in a very close second. Get over that fact that you disagree with my opinions, and stop trying to pass of your "opinions" as facts. The only screen to come close to the ACD is the UltraSharp. Yet all are made with ugly plastics that have no streamline about them. regardless, I'll take the ACD for $65 over the Dell anyday of the week. that is just.... not true at all but whatever. it is clear you are an apple fanboy and cannot be argued with. no point in continuing the conversation. Do you own an ACD? and the 24" was $899 not $999, that is the new 27", show me a monitor with an IPS, build quality that I can get for $665. I'm not going to get into the TN vs IPS debate either. IMO paying that was easily justifiable for the ACD, and yes I did pay for the name but show me a IPS that looks half as good aesthetically. Who's to say he didn't pay 4K for his Plasma when it was first released when prices were easily in the 4-7k range for them? LED lit TV's are just now slowly becoming more maintstream with many still purchasing LCDs, and Plasmas. You act like a person doesn't know the price they're paying or what they're paying for, so its up to them not you to decide if its worth it.

The only thing I do regret is not having anything stronger then my MacBook Pro to pair it with. But that will be changed in a few months.
