Thanks man. It's just so strange. It's really not that big of a deal...because Signing into Xbox Live is never a problem...but I essentially can't sign off of Xbox Live unless I turn my system OFF and BACK ON and never hit "Sign into Xbox Live." What a drag.

I cant sign in automatically even though Auto Sign-In was already enabled...everytime I turn my 360 off and back on it just says "kaMMakaZZi9 signed in". I have to MANUALLY click 'Sign in to Xbox Live' for it to do it even though Auto Sign-In is on. And the on the computer it'll say "New Device Detected" every time under my Linksys Router Adviser icon in the bottom right. I think it's because I have a PS3 and 360 using the same router. I sign into the PS3 with no problems but for 360 it wont do it automatically....and when I sign off of XBL I get to the same screen that you get when you Test Your Connection Settings....any ideas here?

It takes me back the original screen with the original Xbox 360 theme and I have to pick a profile to sign in to. I used to be able to sign out and still browse the dashboard...but it seems I have to be signed into Live now to even look around.... It's not really a big issue..but sometimes I may want to play a 1 player game or watch a movie and not be signed into Live....but when I sign out it takes me to the screen where you pick a profile to sign into....is this new or just a setting I have to change somewhere?

The best part about Halo 3 was beating Legendary Co-Op with some friends on Live. That was way more fun than the actual online MP ended up being. I got bored with it fast, yet I'm still playing COD4 and I bought that the first day it came out.

I had to start GH III and II over....but on Call of Duty 4 it had the entire game beat just like I did before I sold the console. I deleted every save my from HDD. But when I put COD4 back in, I went to Mission Select and all of the missions were unlocked to play. Of course my online stats were the same. But most of my games I have to start over (though I did sell most). Castlevania SOTN I have to start over...and I had made it to the Inverted Castle ;(

I have both consoles and am not sure which to buy it for...achievements are not a factor for me.

I have both too. Usually I check reviews for any game killing glitches or bugs (ie Tiger Woods 08 ). Then see which looks/plays better. Achievements USED to have more value to me, but I think I'm mostly gonna go Ps3 as a main console and use 360 for exclusives. XBL is awesome, but I only play online 3% of the time. It's not really worth paying for a year of XBL when I don't use it and PSN is free. Plus 4 or 5 of my friends all have ps3s so I am more inclined to buy those games.strayzilla
Sounds like my situation, my XBL actually is set to NOT auto-renew March 1st. I don't think its worth it when I have the PS3 PSN.

How can I get the save to show on my HD? Just play a level and have it save again? Thats all I can think of.

Ok, I just got my repaired 360 back (I had sold it, long story short, refunded the guy because he said it broke). I'm keeping it and when I put COD4 in (after recovering tag, etc), my one player save was still there. Even though I cleared the HD when I sold it. So my 1 player game was tied to my GT, I knew my online stats would. But I dont even have COD4 on my HD and it has my 1 player progress, so that too is tied to GT. Im curious, would Halo 3 be tied to my GT as well, and Assassin's Creed? These are games id consider buying AGAIN if i didnt have to start over.
