Just curious, but how do you have 14401 posts at level 1? How often have you been modded?

    Sometimes the levels revert back to Level 1 in some threads. Its happened to me, and usually does not last long.

    EDIT: He is a Level 31.

I respectfully disagree with some of those points.

It is true that MS was new to gaming and got involved at a time when consoles costed much more to product. But what does it say that they beat Nintendo last gen? And even if some of this is true, they have at least made it where the Juggernaut Sony is not so dominate. PS3 isn't profitable at all. They are at least making money this time on the consoles and the attach rate.

Those articles are nothing more than blog entries.

Just my opinion based on what I have seen happen before. Flame away if you wish.

It is unknown how many people will purchase it, but one thing seems to be sure is that over 50% will probably be people who already have the 360. This means there will be a surplus of used 360's out there. I will probably mean that new 360 premium sales and core sales may go down slightly until Mass Effect and some of the bigger titles come out. But it also means that the cheap games may benefit from better pricing on the used systems. Even though I never buy them I see many people (usually casuals) that do because of their price. Also 360 is starting to get more and more of the bargain games with it's platinum hits.

I have witnessed many people pick up an old PS2 for cheap when the slim version came out.

Just want to know some answers to some of my questions about the point of views of the 360 fanbase about this gen war. I like to understand my enemies.

Are you serious? I think you take this too serious. I don't consider anyone my enemy just because they like something that is different than me. You should really stop and take a look at yourself. You may find some of the same things in yourself that you profess to hate about others. Just a thought.

But if you've been playing FPS games on the PC since the 90s, Halo is just another console shooter when compared to what you can do on the PC. 

I grew up playing R6 and Counter Strike. Many great games on PC. Halo is the best console FPS by a mile. And I must say, even though the PC beats it in graphics, Halo is just fun. There is a need for both in this world, good PC and good console. I need both.

Last gen they had the benefit of all of the cheap gamers who buy stuff at walmart. I appears that 360 will get the first price drop and also release their big games (Mass Effect, Halo 3). If Sony doesn't try to drop the price they are foolish because the lead will be too big for them to ever recover from because all devs will put games on the 360 and their will be no advantage for the PS3 except Metal Gear, FF. Just my opinion
