So I hear a lot of people saying this year goes to PS3 or just wait for this fall for 360.

Personally I think sony has already shot it's load, and with a price drop and Gears2, Fable 2, Left 4 Dead, etc MS will outsell quite a bit this year.

But on the other hand if Sony would drop price instead of these stupid bundles that are an excuse not to drop the price, they could gain more ground with blu ray starting to take hold.

Who will win this year?

They battle each other because of simply psychology- you alwasy fear what you can't have. Using this, it follows that lemmings fear the PS3. Because they know it is better, more powerful, has more futureproof, and has better games and future games. But they come to system wars and bash the PS3, making up lies about it. But what they say are just that: lies. Eventually the world will know the truth, the truth of the superior Cell and blu ray, and the fact that the 360 can't touch it. This is why the 360 fans bash the PS3. I don't see many PS3 owners bashing the 360, because PS3 owners are actually secure in their purchase. Fart_Storm

I own both and can I say this, If PS3 is WAY more powerful I have yet to see it. I like my PS3 but some of what you said is like the emperor's new clothes. Sony fanboys can't get over the fact that power isn't there or if it is we haven't seen it. 360 fanboys are guilty of this too not seeing the faults of the 360. But I can't say I agree with you one the cell.

Every gaming PC can hookup straight to an HDTV or projector. There are many games you can use wireless controllers even wireless adapters for the 360 controller to use on PC. Just because YOUR PC setup blows doesn't mean it has to for the rest of us.

I'll enjoy playing prince of persia and street fighter IV on a 55" plasma screen lying back on the couch with my wireless controller THANKS TO MY PC

The battle is between PS3 and 360 because nintendo completely destroyed them in sales. Oh they wanted to laugh at nintendo when they first introduced the wii. Now it is a known fact that there is more wii's in households then ps3's or 360. Because both companies know that they will probably never catch up to the wii's sales they've decided to ignore it completely and act like it doesn't exist. While they claw each others eyes out fighting for the silver medal. We may complain that the wii has no games, hell thats completely true. but the numbah 1 job of a console maker is to ensure more of your product is in more households then anyone elses. Nintendo did that better then anyone else this gen despite the lack of games.

They did, and they did it with only a concept. I own every top game on Wii and don't get me wrong they are not bad but I never beat Zelda, never beat Metriod, never beat Galaxy, and don't play Brawl or Mario Kart. Even though they have sold more. I would much prefer to play on 360 or PS3 or PC, IMHO.

Point being even though they sold more I don't think most real gamers deep down think the the Wii is really the best.

Funny thing is PS3 and 360 are more alike than the other platforms. Is this why they battle? I myself am a PS360 guy.

I have a Wii and never ever play it. I see how they will win this Gen. It will be grandmas and children and smiles that help them sell. Because real gamer who owns one knows it is fun for a while but then it becomes not even as exciting as watching reruns of Diffrent Strokes.

My PC I noticed is better than many PC nerds who love to post their specs (kind of nerdy if you ask me). But we by and large ignore hermits as angry has beens. I admit I am so excited for Diablo 3, but it seems hermits don't get it. EVERYONE has a PC. NOT EVERYONE likes to sit at a desk to play every game. In short, it seems Sony vs. MS is like Coke vs. Pepsi. Even if they aren't the top sellers or the most powerful.

Perhaps but the sad thing is PS3 has had 2 big things this year 1 BluRay winning 2 MGS, but they have shot their wad and this holiday Gears 2 and Fable 2 with a price cut will beat sony. I like PS3 but you know this is true.
