[QUOTE="Weird_Jerk"][QUOTE="damnyoyoyo"][QUOTE="Weird_Jerk"] Hahaha, I'm a level one posting on a level one's page. Please, don't compare games you haven't played to other games that you've seen in pictures. I've snooped around here for a while and can tell you are a fan(boy/girl).

my playstation network name is damnyoyoyo can take a pic of my ps3 if u want, i played killzone2 demo. i only played timeshift demo also check this out http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/x360-vs-ps3-face-off-round-seven-article after loading up the PlayStation 3 version. Don't get me wrong, graphically it's very close indeed to the original Xbox 360 version as the comparison screenshots doubtless reveal. But this is one of the rare occasions where even a low-res internet video would reveal the night and day difference between the two versions.

:/ I thought the thread was about ps3 vs/in comparison to PC gaming. Of course the PC is vastly more capable than PS3, and the PS3 and Xbox are relatively equivalent in comparison. Graphics are in the pc's favor, so what about the interface, capabilities, and experience of each?

that kicks ass ps3 has a webbrowser and u can use youtube works pretty good.

XMB seems less laggy than xbox360's dashboard, but i think 360's lay out is better

I know what parallax mapping does. I was asking you to explain, in detail, how Timeshift looks better than Killzone 2. One technique, whilst adding a certain "realism" and "depth" as you put it, does not necessarily make for a better looking game overall.

Overall, Killzone 2 is the much better looking game, and yes, I have played Timeshift to completion.

gamertag? overall parallax mapping makes timeshift look more next gen.

Not on my gamertag as I played it on my PS3 when released.

Just so you know:

"overall parallax mapping makes timeshift look more next gen."

This would not be seen as proof, anywhere.

lol timeshift looks better on xbox360 than ps3. eurogamer did a comparison.

timeshift has kind of a cartoonish look and killzone2 going for more realistic, but timeshift seems alittle more next gen on the texturing.

So you explained nothing. Explain to me how that makes the game look better than Killzone 2.

lundy86_4

parallax add's more depth to textures. textures without parallax appear more flat. the ground in the demo uses it in killzone2 beggining of the game...but not really the walls or anything else like timeshift.

i cant believe none of the review's mentioned how when ur crouching...the game will automatically attach to walls the cover system button and crouch are the same buttons bad design choice, i have found myself sticking to walls while using crouch i didnt want to take cover on.
