I have the cinematic mod and the combine do NOT look like that. I dunno what version you have but that must be a model from the character pimper

Checked it out and the first thing I thought was WTF! Half Life 2 Combine: Half Life 2 Cinematic Mod Combine: What stupid person thought it would be a good idea to completely change the way the combine look? My opinion is that the original Combine look way cooler and the new combine in the cinematic mod look like some stupid crap from a starwars game.

No not at all. It forces you to use mouse acceleration and therefor is not a good game at all.

Stalker is a horrible game to start out on the PC. For one, it is such a unique game some people hate it and others love it. I like the game but have to be in the mood to play it otherwise I hate it. I would say the original F.E.A.R. as it is apparently better on PC then the 360 (different developers). Or if you are into Call of Duty I would say COD4 Modern Warfare as playing on dedicated servers is great compared to 360 match making. One server I play on is Shotguns and Pistols only so playing on dedicated servers is definitely funner then match making. or just go with Worms Armageddon :D

there's tons. Search for Half Life 2 mods and you should get a bunch. I don't know of any but Insurgency but I remember looking at a lot of them.

Yea, Dan :P sounds like a good idea to look for a tutorial cause i was lost when first playing TF2 and i have yet to return to it in awhile because the steam engine is on my laptop and i need a normal working mouse, not mousepad to play a shooter obviously, but from what i was doing in it, i liked it :D wish my 360 remote would hook up to the laptop thought :(kairikh
You should get a wired 360 controller for your laptop! Or if you have a wireless controller you should be able to just buy the wireless receiver for PC. I use a wired 360 controller on my PC to play racing games and GTA IV.

Um... How about the best RTS ever... Starcraft? Then Starcraft 2 when it comes out. Dawn of War. The first one has base building. Dawn of War 2 does not have base building as far as I know. Company of Heroes is pretty good but not much base building.

I would say Dragon Age! I have yet to play the game but the reason why i say to get that first is because it already has an expansion out for it. So get Dragon Age and the expansion and you will have lots of gameplay. Then when you get The Witcher it will probably be around the time that The Witcher 2 will be coming out (depending on how much you game) so you can play them back to back.
