@pills4louis, as much as i agree with u, there is no need to jump on people who didnt enjoy it, maybe it not there cup of tea. Thats why i made this thread to see what other people's opinion about the game.
I finaly finished the game and starting my second playthrough. To me the gamepay is so addicting that i havent play any other of my games.
With this game, Persona team have my complete trust, I'll be looking forward for there next game.
Yeah agree the controls will take time to get used to specialy harder mode when there no rewind option. And yes it has its frustrating moments but there is no game with out frustration. We would lose couple times in a level then get frustrated then stop and relaxe then come back and beat the level. To me u cant have rewarding feeling with out the frustration of beating the level or a boss, it was same with Demon's Soul, Ninja Gaiden and this game.
Im glad u give your honest opinion with out bahing the game. Im suprised that most people still think this game is some kind of hentai game even tho game like Mass Effect and Wicher 2 has more sex than this game. Heck! even God of War has more sex than this game.

Really, kinda sad how Vincent has so much stress over a sexual relationship in which he barely is awake. Great game though momentarely I'm not motivated to finish it. The puzzle I'm stuck at right now is just to hard for me so I take a recreational break, playing other stuff. I just hope my motivation returns soon. This game is to good to become one of the many unfinished ones in my collection.
I was also stuck in some of the stages, specialy on 5th one, but the story is so good that it gets me motivated to finish the game. But u could always use youtube if the the stage is to hard. The last game i was this exited for the story was Persona 4. I just hope they add some elements that made Catherine so good on Persona 5.
If anyone lists that reason, then they haven't played enough of the game. There's really no porn in it. I will be openly honest and say that I'm a bit disappointed in the fact that there isn't nudity, because the mature story matter actually calls for it. However, I didn't buy it for that reason at all. I purchased it because it's such an oddball game. I beat and reviewed it the other day, giving it an 8.5, but my only real complaint is that the controls take too much getting used to. Yes, the game relies on your skill, but the way the controls work, you can very easily screw yourself up if you don't tap the buttons just right. Plus, there were some major moments of frustration when blocks kept changing themselves up on me. I don't like it when chaos puts its foot in the door and makes me rely on luck.

Just wondering, because my copy still hasn't arrive yet. Do u think I should just cancel my pre- order from EBgames and try get it from some where else?
i was actually going to get into the persona games once i get through my current backlog, so I'll be looking forward to getting into that. I'm surprised there isn't one for the ps3 yet, as it seems a lot of people really like the games.

Well Catherine is done by the same developers who made Persona 3/4. if Catherine sells well we may see Persona 5 on PS3.
this is true, though Catherine isn't on the top of my must play list this year, as there are games I need to catch up on and ones upcoming, but it definitely looks like an interesting game that I'll probably pick up spring next year when all of the fall/winter games are gotten through this year.
Today i was going to pick up my copy of Catherine Deluxe Edition but i got the call that it got delayed till Thu because of Shippping problem. First it was Dissidia 012 that got delayed now this. Why is Canada always has some sort of shipping problems?
Play Persona 4 then come back play FFXIII again, then u will see why the game is lacking. I pesonaly dont hate the game but the battle system and art style is the only good thing about the game. the weapone upgrade is a joke, there is no interesting side quests and most of time you are on norrow pathe. and dont get me started with the charecters, i know Hope is anoying but i specially hate Snow when says " Real heroes dont need plans" when i hear that i want **** kill hime, and lightning is just female virsion of cloud. I think the story had good conept if it was little darker, here is example: in part snow tried to save hope's mother but failes and hope belives he killed hime, But to me it would better if snow accidently killed his mother while trying save one of his friends, NOW Hope has good reasone to hate hime.
