I live in the Los Angeles area and 2 weeks ago I went to 4 Best Buys, 3 Targets, 3 Gamestops, Walmart, and Costco and couldn't find an elite. All those stores were also sold out on their websites. I ran across a couple of arcades and halo edition but I didn't want those. I finally found one last week at newegg.com. On the other hand the Best Buy has a ton of Ps3s

Is there any signal degradation if you use a HDMI hub/switch? I only have one HDMI input on my TV. Currently I connect my computer to it, but I plan to get a HD-DVR box and a Xbox 360 and connect them via HDMI.

Use Microsoft Virtual PC. It's like a pc emulator. Install Win98 on the virtual machine you create.
