Look at games like the three Monster Hunter games & games like GTA: Liberty City Stories. They sold so many copies because they were original games, & games that didn't appear on a home gaming console (well, GTA: LCS appeared later on the PS2).garland51

The so called "backwards compatibility" doesn't mean anything for 95% of PSP owners. Why? Because most people bought their games in stores. I mean really, how many people out there can honestly say they downloaded all their PSP games? How many can say they downloaded any at all? It isn't true backwards compatibility. But even if it was, no it wouldn't be a factor. With that said, I'm probably buying it at launch anyway. First system I would have ever bought at launch.
