I got Gears of War Collector's Edition since I heard it was GOTY and some amazing reviews and basciley to play with friends, so now I'm looking for a single player game that's would just amaze me with scenery and explorability.

so I'm thinking of these games:

Mass Effect

Bioshock

Assassin's Creed

any suggestion on which one to buy?

I'm looking for a game where there's bullets whizzing everywhere, debris blasted eveywhere, where you MUST find cover, and gerandes, really gritty warfare like movies like saving Private Ryan and such. So is Gears of War that kind of game? I really like the cover system and the behind the shoulder view and the gritty art direction.

p.s. are enemey AI farley smart? and can they actually pin you down with sniper rifles?

I played the demo and was surprised by the game's charming fantasy graphics and gameplay, just some questions though:

-can you explore the beutifal background in the actual game later on?

-does your plot of land get bigger?

but not in general, specifiley for Xbox 360 games, does HDTV matter???? since games like Halo 3(640P) and COD 4(600P) don't have HD resolutions.

I would like to know too, since many games: Halo 3(640P) and COD4(600P) for example don't have a "HD resolution" so is there any point of getting an HDTV then?

thanks for the info guys, i

-are the gun fights fast-paced (like Gears of War) or slow-paced (Ghost Recon)?

-From what I've seen the nemies are very similar looking robot things, do you get to kill way cooler things than robots in game?

Here's some Mass effect questions I would like to know before I decide to buy it.

-Is the SSV Normandy like the character's house?

-Can you change the character's armour? and are there some really bada$$ looking armours in the game?

-How long does the game take beating the campagian and doing about 50% of side quests?

-Most important question: (I've been looking at screenshots and clips and they all seem to show the same 5 places over again), so are there very unqiue and varied enviorments in Mass effect? (like forests, caves, ocean, etc.)

Well I dont have Xbxo live so I can't download some of the updates and add-ons for a game like Halo 3 or Bioshock. My question is will newer DVDs of Bioshock and Halo 3 already have these updates loaded in on the disc already? hat would be really cool and it will be the same as PC game versions then.

maybe Bioshock, Mass effect, Oblivion pushed the limits on the DVD-ROM storage capacity then? They are very big games...
