This isn't really a can I run it question but more of a should it run like this. I've been playing The Witcher 2 for a bit now and I'm getting about 25-30 FPS on High and about 30-35 on low settings and this seems a bit off to me. Is this normal for my setup or should I be getting a better FPS? I did get the new beta Nvidia drivers but I didn't uninstall the 3d drivers or whatever that was about. My rig is in the sig. Thanks in advance :)

Hey I was just wondering I've been playing The Witcher 2 for a bit now and I'm getting about 25-30 FPS on average on High spec. Is this normal for my setup or should I be getting a better FPS? Uninstall the 3d drivers from the control panel. also disable ubersampling and v-sync from the game's config menu. Motion blur is also a performance killer (optional.)

Yeah uber smapling is disabled I've only got it on high spec not ultra, also i tried a little test last night to see what sort of fps I would get on low settings I was still getting 30-35 which doesnt seem right, how do you uninstall the 3d drivers?

The Witcher 2 is a magnificent game, whereas Fable 3 is a good way to waste a few hours. Don't waste your money on Fable 3.

@kraken2109 thats the cooler my friend is using and I am thinking about getting it. The only problem is I have one fan at the top just above the cpu and I'm wondering whether that aftercooler would be able to fit with the fan still in place. I also was wondering whether it is difficult to install one since I haven't before.

Hey I've got a fairly new gaming PC and my temp for the CPU runs at about 40 idle and 65 on load. My graphics card runs on about 31 idle and 59 on load. My specs are:

System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: X58-USB3
BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 950 @ 3.07GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.1GHz
Memory: 6144MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 6142MB RAM

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460

I have this case and thought it would stay fairly cool. The CPU has the stock cooler and the brand of the graphics card is Gigabyte. I am using Core Temp to check my temps for the CPU. I thought it was an alright temperature but I saw my mates pc and his core runs around 20 idle but he has an aftermarket cooler so yeah I might invest in one if it is needed. Nothing is overclocked either.
