I would pretty much only buy a HD tv if it was for gaming :P not for anything else, since pretty much all tests run to see the difference on just about any sites (that does not try to sell said product)are pretty negative.

and to answer your question Mercenaries 2 was quite bad graphically, but heck i like blowing stuff up...

i played fallout 3 and i liked the gameplay, but not the graphics, RESIDENT EVIL 4 FOR PS2 looks better, BUT i like fallout 3 its not a bad game.
