The first Assassin's Creed was very repetitive as you can get. Find the assassins headquarters, then go here and eavesdrop to find info where your target is, jump off a viewpoint into a conveniently placed haystack, assassinate target, report back to the headquarters, go to the the next town and repeat what you did earlier.
