I am upgrading my standard 32"inch TV to a flat screen.

I want to enjoy both size and quality of video. And I love to play PS3 and really want to enjoy its graphics.

How good is a Samsung C430 50" tv compared to a 40" Full HD LCD. Both cost the same.

50" is massive but its 720p. Would it really make a difference at this size?

Hello,

How is my progress saved in the Lost in Nightmares chapter of RE5.

I've started playing it and reached the point where you lose your partner in a different area and also lose all your weapons.

I stopped playing there considering I my progress would be saved at the preceeding checkpoints.

Now when I started again I have to restart from again. Selecting 'continue' takes me to the originaly RE 5 saves of Africa.

Need assistance! :(

Cheers,

[QUOTE="ExoticAnimal"]I believe that you have to unlock the challenges in story mode first before being able to play as with the joker.M0wen10

Yeah, thats what I would think too.

I had no trouble playing as the Joker, it was an easily viewable option to choose who to play as for me

Does he appear as an option on the screen where youu have to choose between normal and armoured batman?

I've finished the story mode in Arkham Asylum. I then downloaded the play as the joker file from the Playstation Network and installed it on my PS3.

But I can't seem to understand how to play as the Joker. Or where to find his maps in the game.

:(

Thanks in advance for the help.

Cheers

This forum has already helped me in making an excellent decision in buying a PS3 when I could have been lured towards an Xbox (Not to say anything against it, its a very strong system but still can't beat PS3 ) which is very popular on all forums. And this is the reason why I can close my eyes while making a decision now. The only thing that bothers me is that I can spend 20k extra (Pakistani Rupees) and go for a 32 inch proper LCD. But then they aren't full HD. These small computer LCD ones are. So from people who've used them as well. Whats the graphics difference? That is between 32 inch proper LCDs which are HD ready and smaller 22 inch computer LCDs which are FULL HD with 1080p. Because I've met people who have spent 55k (Pakistani Rupees) on 26 inch FULL HD 1080p LCDs like samsungs black rose series instead of going for a 32 inch one. For those of you not familiar with the currency: Samsung 2333 HD LCD is worth 30k (Pakistani Rupees) It is 1080p and full HD Samsung 32 inch TV is worth 55k (Pakistani Rupees) and is only 720p and HD ready. Is there really a graphics difference between these two for PS3?

View Sonic has 20000:1 color contrast ratio while samsung has 10000:1 contrast ratio. Would that really matter? I was going for View Sonic but saw Samsung there as well... Suddenly my heart's gotten inclined to it. Just need feedback from experts now :)

I want to buy an HDMI 1080p lcd screen for my PS3 which I can also use for my PC as a monitor and also as a TV. In terms of graphics quality for games like GTA and MGS4 which model is better: View Sonic 2260wm or Samsung 2333HD I know samsung has a built in tuner, does it have a remote as well? My question is more related to the quality of graphics that I can get though? which is better? Thanks

The title says it all, which one is better?

I read this someplace on the net, was posted on another forum, let me know if this is correct:

"i think that the 40GB version is the best because the Processor(Cell Broadband Engine) is updated with the 65nanometer technology compared to the 90nanometer technology
(the lesser the better @ lesser power consumption and lesser heat output = more efficiency and if it is possible to overclock it in the PS3 ,then IBM ,the creater of the processor says that they got the processor upto 6Ghz from 3.2Ghz(stock) after the shrink to 65nanometers)
currently one of the most powerful processors in the world"

Source: http://www.pakgamers.com/forums/sony-playstation/6411-ps3-sku-comparison-40gb-vs-80gb-vs-60gb-vs-20gb-vs-160-gb-updated-9.html

Does 60 gig have 90nanometer technology then? But 60 Gig does have chrome finish and extra USB ports and other features.

I can find some old one's in packed form here in Pakistand. Should I got for an old 60 gig one or a new 40 gig one without the fancy chrome and features but a faster processor?

Thanks for your promp reply. The reason why I asked this was that almost all of the game store said I won't be able to play it on a SDTV. I live in Pakistan where Xbox is a more popular platform but I am inclined towards PS3.

And can I get a standard AV cable (with one pin for video and one pin for audio - like in old Mega Drive Consoles) for PS3?
