you need to go to the video and audio settings and switch them back to the regular av/multi connection before you go to his or her house cause the ps3 is already set up for hd and you cant do anything to change it on a standard tv, i had this same problem at my house when i would play on my uncles hd tv before i had one of my own, now that i have one i dont have the problem but i know what youre talking about, hope i helped some

the orange box is a great game and everything came together better than i expected, even if they released a semi-hlf assed version on the ps3 i still love it, and Portal rocks!!!!

Of course it is, it is a contender out of the box and it has plenty of possibilities for upgrades so in the long run the only thing thats gonna affect the 40 gb is the lack of backwards compatibility which i bet isnt gonna be a big demand as the coming months bring us the big ps3 titles and ps2 and ps games will become a thing of history, so the 40 gb is definitely as great as its 80 gb counterpart in about every way

it comes from cheap quality hdmi chords. try costco for a good one. i got a set that came with two hdmi chords and two component cable hookups (the hdmi chords work with the ps3 but the component chords are not the ones for video game set up) for $89.99.

they have another package that has one of each chord for $54.99.

I dont think thats the problem in my case, i got my hdmi cable for 50 dollars and that wasafter a discount from where i work, and i still have that problem
