@fig56: not what i said.....for a games site GS barely covers anything that isn't one of the major publisher's major IP's that's the problem, they barely mention anything else, when they do it's never about why something is cool, it's why we should play it despite many issues the game has....

it's 6 months of nonstop advertising for a game that came out 6 months ago, spoiling all the surprises, making it be something you wish would go away, this obsessive coverage kills all hype for a game, Zelda BOTW my hype died a week in the onslaught, overhype any interest I might have had died 2 days in just cus it was a MP only game and got sick of seeing the articles for it a week in long before the game even came out...I barely looked at any of em either....

i honestly don't know what all is coming down the line thanks to oversaturation of other crap......beyond Wolfenstein 2.....everything else is just mush......it's cus i was bombarded with trash info that I forgot real info.....this isn't good, it'll hurt a lot of other games in the long run cus the way my brain works is I just throw away garbage info when it becomes too much and that always includes a few nuggets I might have liked.....

@yourefakenews: Wolfenstein TNO got squat for coverage but at that time we still had better reviewers, Kevin, Chris and Danny were still at GS........

the site has turned into Polygon or kotaku lately.....but so far i haven't seen the Polygon levels of sh**t talking and false claims but clickbaiting? yes, definitely.....but look at who owns GS.....

this trend of going overboard with coverage has on;y been withing the last couple years, when Destiny 1 came on yes they covered the F out of it but not like this.....they didn't spoil anything for the first game or go into here;s all the powers for this class....

having this much BS articles for 1 game drowns out all info for anything else and it really is a waste of time and effort, it's killing the site too.....

sorry but none of this coverage is helping Destiny 2's case.....it's making the game look worse and worse......
