There are many things, but these in particular are my choices:

Overdone:

Zombies, I like em too, but please try to do something new, take a chance.

The "modern" setting FPS, nuff said.

Underdone:

Space-based RTS games, its been a long time since Homeworld.

A team-based game that plays out like a FPS but with a different setting, think Unreal tournament or more importantly Star Wars Battlefront.

Universe at war: Earth assault.

I absolutely love movable bases. or any other kind of mobile structure or behemoth of a tank.

But at the same time, something always gets my attention first.

Ah yes, a moderation followed by a second one resulting in a 5-day ban, loss of points and a commendation to the user(s) who reported me. Why didn't I see this coming?

Initially, I thought Starcraft was pretty bad. After careful consideration, I am wrong.

Turns out that it isn't.

Before I say what changed my view, I must explain.

Little things don't really matter that much.

Overall, I was blowing things out of scale.

Way to many times are things seriously overestimated, or in any cases too much is expected from them.

Still, It pays to simply enjoy what you have.
