I would love to have a mechanized full replica of an elemental from the battletech universe.

I'd say the Call of duty series, Medal of honor too.
And with Bungie's departure, I don't want any more halo games unless a developer has the stones to make Halo wars 2.
Wii already has something that may be arguably better... an smg replica.
Full wiimote and nunchuk, retail at $10 less than buying each seperately.
Unless you're trading old games in bulk, or you're very desperate, don't trade in at gamestop.
Use Ebay, Amazon or any other trustworthy site.
I guess I'm one of the only ones being logical here.
I would certainly not choose death at this time of my life.
Saying what you'll do, and actually doing it when the time comes are two totally different things.
It really depends what type of apocalypse where talking about... Nevertheless.
For any general situation:
- 1 bullet.
- a good caliber handgun.
- pure water, along with a ton my favorite snacks.
- the rest of the DUNE series I never got around to finishing.
- A brand-new sharpie marker.
I'm withJubino here, no apocalypse is worth living. While there are many types of apocalypses, generally is probably isn't worth it to try to survive.
And my BS decter has gone through the roof.

Mine has been buzzing around the stratosphere a good few weeks now.
Monster hunter tri, that game is like a series of boss fights, all of them pretty tough.
Some of them in particular like theDeviljho, Alatreon, Caedus, Agnaktorare just plain evil.
They will kill you.
Again and again.

why look at world war 2 millions of people died jews were treated like animals and killed horribly or used as test subjects - compared to two buildings collapsing killing a few people in comparison (not saying it was right because it was a tragic event just like in every event where innocent people die) and yet how many games have we about WW2

Has there ever, EVER been a game set in WW2 that features, or even mentions the holocaust?
No.
Its about the soldiers.
A game can't be made from a historic event when the event lasts no longer than a day.
And don't... even... try to describe the The holocaust. You need to take what you said, and multiply it a few times to start to get the feeling of how horrific it was. That is why no game mentions it.
9/11 and the holocaust are two totally different sides of the spectrum, I disrespect neither, but the holocaust was way worse than 9/11.
i know it was worse than 9/11 thats why i brought it up
And? TC is talking about making a game based off of 9/11, I said there are events games should not be made after. What is the point of bringing the Holocaust here again?
, and i also dont see why games wouldnt be able to use or reference the holocaust or 9/11 or any traumatic time or event,
They do in a way, lots of games have been set in Alfganistan(sp?) or around the Middle East, without 9/11 there would be no reason to make a game about that area. There certainly are events games and media have been based around, but some are simply best left untouched.
either everything is fair game or nothing is,
Well thats stupid. Whats the problem with a little variety? You don't always have to go on the extreme side of an argument.
i mean look at the movie industry they have no problem using these events for their productions because they are seen as a mature form of entertainment do the gaming community not strive for the same?
Well I saw plenty of 10-yr olds at transformers 2 when I saw it in the theatre, that doesn't make it a mature form of entertainment. It might say mature, but plenty of underaged people engage in it. Children should know about 9/11 and the Holocaust for the sake of respect and knowing the significance of these tragedies. They shouldn't be belittled by having a game made based off of them.
or are we always going to be looked at as little kids who play games for fun
Well, I play games for fun. My other friends in college play for fun. does that make us kids?
No.
Games are meant as a form of entertainment. If you don't play them for fun, well then you're already a lost cause.
"suck it up america, no one cares"
Do you live in Europe? Or somewhere other than America?
Because thats like saying "No one cares about the Holocaust" to a child who's parents never survived it.
