Just got my ps4 but noticed when i push the left analog stick up it feels a little grindy like it's rubbing on plastic, anyone else have this issue?

I tested another 3.5mm controller and it has the same issue. It's hard to understand if you don't have the older controller to compare it to, but the older one has much better abxy buttons.
Has anyone noticed the abxy buttons on the new 3.5mm controller is less springy than the old controllers. I say this because i find myself holding down the a button by accident a lot more, it takes a lot more release pressure, this is annoying when I'm playing a game that uses the "a" button repetitively. Or did i just get a defective controller.
Sometimes it could be that your DS3 is still "new" lol. I have a DS3 and mine seems to be functioning excellently...My friend has SotC and I'll ask him to try it out for you...he has a PS3 and DS3 as well...I'll post results in about 1 hour or so...xXxArchSagexXx
thank you archsage, i really hope this is normal, but then again i really hope its not
Yeah, its a very quiet squeek noise. I get it in any game with rumble. Its most noticable in SotC, when riding the horse.darkface
did you get yours from amazon?
Yeah, I have a similar problem with my Dual shock 3 except mine goes ribbit.. ribbit.. ribbitThomasdeleo
is it a sort of high pitched sound?
Mine does the exact same thing in Shadow of the Colossus.darkface
Where did you get your ds3? have you noticed it in any other games? Anyone else with shadow of the colossus that can test this?
