i got a 24awg net protected 10ft cable for 22 bux after shipping from monoprice, gold plated. Coulda gotten the dirt cheap 5.95 6 ft but at this price might as well go better.

lay it flat (horizontal).

theres research taht more heat accumilates if you put it vertical, where as the overal heat is spread out and "low" if its laying flat.

You just described the type of games you prefer, i think its fairly easy to make a console decision based on this, but if you like half of what sony has to offer then i think it was worth it. IMO pick up call of duty 4 , there are plenty of games coming, all the consoles have something to offer and unless you buy them all you will be missing on good games, including ps3. 2007 wasn't sony's comeback year, that is 2008.

i've been researching bluetooths and as far as quality goes, plantronics voyager 510 seems to be the winner, only downside is that it isnt very attractive.

i have the jabra 2040, works ok but runs on batteries which is annoying, wouldnt reccomend with outside use
