@SolidTy: I've compared them side by side. Virtually indistinguishable on Far Cry 4, Witcher 3, Shadow of Mordor, Batman AK, etc. I imagine that will remain the same. Considering the amazing deals MS has been offering it's a great time to buy an X1 if you don't care about Sony exclusives that much.
Nintendo's only chance would be to release a console powerful enough to compete with the PS5 and the next Xbox whenever they're released. In other words, they need to build an $800 console but price it at $400. Never going to happen.
Am I able to download the free 360 games on Games with Gold to my Xbox One and play them later if they become BC?
I just bought an Xbone after being a Sony person for a while. Probably 90% of the games I play are multiplats and there isn't much difference between the two consoles. I can't really tell the difference after watching comparison videos on Youtube. MS is also offering BC which is a huge plus. It's also a lot cheaper than the PS4. I got my Xbone with 2 wireless controllers, AC Unity and BlackFlag, the Witcher 3, and 3 months of Gold all for $349 from Amazon. MS Store has a similar deal going on now. Seemed like the way to go for me, and I'm sure many will start to agree. MS is just starting to flex itself.
Got an Xbox One, 2 wireless controllers, AC Unity and ACIV, the Witcher 3, and 3 months of Live Gold for $349 shipped at Amazon.
Why not just get it now? I picked up the AC bundle with 2 wireless controllers, the Witcher 3, and 3 months of Gold all for $349 shipped earlier today. If Amazon offers that deal again I'd jump on it.
